We met on New Year's Eve in 2011, going into '12, through mutual USC friends (shout out to Jack, Drew & Sam!). If someone told us in 8 years, to the day, we'd be getting married neither of us would've believed you. Actually, Erika might have. Andrew would have uncomfortably laughed if off.

After meeting on NYE we remained friends for a few years, until running into each other at a USC tailgate in October 2014. Andrew asked Erika to grab a drink next time she was in Orange County. It just so happened, Erika was going to be in Orange County the following week. She took Andrew up on his offer.

Erika remembers calling her sister, Tiffany, and friend, Laura, prior to our first "date." She knew it was just a casual friends dinner, but she was so nervous. Her sister asked "Why are you nervous?!? It is just Taborda!" Erika didn't know why, she just was. (She changed her outfit at least 5 times, surprise, surprise). She drove from San Clemente to Newport Beach for drinks, and the rest is history!

Over the next several years, we continued to grow as a couple: meeting each other's families, celebrating holidays together, celebrating friend's marriages and traveling the world.

3.5 years after our first date, Andrew asked Erika to marry him while hiking in Costa Rica. We are so enthusiastic to celebrate the next chapter of our love story this New Years Eve with our loved ones.

2014 - Our first New Years Eve as a couple <3

2015 - Our first anniversary together. If you are in Newport Beach be sure to stop by The Winery. Our favorite appetizers are: the charcuterie board and pork-belly lollypops.

2017 - If you travel to San Diego and are looking for a low key moment, visit M Winehouse. The first level is a bar full of wine possibilities. The second level is quaint and quiet. The second level offers a wall of games (our favorite).

2017 - The beginning of our health journey, Anaheim's bubble run.

2017 - Our first home together was in San Clemente. We were lucky enough to stay at Erika's parents home while we decided if we'd move to LA or Orange County. We eventually settled on Orange County.
