Getting to the Ceremony

Ceremony Shuttles

Meet the Easy Rider school bus shuttle at the Ix Art Park, near downtown Charlottesville, between 3:30 and 3:45pm to get you to Ivy by 4:00 pm.

Shuttles will be heading from Ivy back to downtown Charlottesville at 10pm, 11:30pm and 1am.

Drive

Our lovely neighbors, the Middletons, have graciously made their field available for parking during the ceremony. Their address is: 5106 Ivy Rd., Charlottesville VA, 22903 [map view].

Lyft/Uber

While ride-share apps can get you to Ivy (use the address above!) for the ceremony, they may not be ideal for pickup after the event.

Getting to/around Charlottesville

By Plane

Charlottesville has a lovely little airport with your usual car rental companies, and regular service through Lyft/Uber. If you are arriving super late at night, we suggest coordinating a ride from CHO in advance.

The Richmond airport is just over an hour away and may be a little less expensive to fly into (key words: may be) if you're planning on renting a car anyway.

Washington DC has has two airports that are around 2.5 hours away; probably the least expensive flights, but would require some car renting / advanced logistics to get to Charlottesville.

By Train

Not a particularly cheap or flexible option, but Charlottesville does have a train station close to downtown that could work for those already on the east coast.

By Automobile
