Where to Stay in Charlottesville

Hello lovely friends and family!

after speaking with just about every hotel near downtown Charlottesville in search of a reasonably priced, reasonably located block of rooms, we couldn't quite find what we were looking for. We didn't want to offer you all $250+ a night rooms OR force you to stay on the outskirts of town, so we decided that instead, we are going to encourage you to book your own place to stay and suggest a few spots/approaches:

1. The most economic, locally flavored, easy option is probably AirBnB. There are lots of spots close to downtown Charlottesville or downtown Belmont (a little neighborhood in Charlottesville with some great restaurants).

2. Here are also some hotels we like close to the downtown area! They tend to have more price variety if you aren't booking a block of rooms, and they actually get cheaper closer to the date, if you want to play that game. These are a variety of sizes, with the smallest only having 4 rooms!

200 South Street Inn

Residence Inn by Marriott

Home 2 Suites by Hilton

The Townsman

The Omni Charlottesville

The Quirk Hotel in Charlottesville

If you are getting to the wedding on the shuttle, the shuttles will be meeting guests in downtown Charlottesville (exact location to be finalized). Our night-before and morning-after events are also located close to the downtown mall, so if you won't have a car it would be convenient to stay close! (yes Uber is also an option :) )
