Aaron's Top 5 Must do & More

1) I have to put walking as #1 on the list of things to do in Puerto Vallarta. Exploring on foot is the best way to get a feel for the city, and most areas of PV are reachable by walking. - Explore the Romantic Zone and the Malacon!
2) Join a food tour
3) Show and dinner experience - Rhythms of The Night
4) Take a chocolate making class
5) Visit the village/beach of Mismaloya
PLUS: While this isn’t technically a thing to do in Puerto Vallarta, a trip to Marietas Island is an excellent day trip. Only 116 people per day are allowed to visit this gorgeous site — make sure you book online ahead of time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET INTO MEXICO

Travelling to Mexico during COVID requires a few pieces of documentation to enter the country, specifically, a health screening form, and a Mexico tourist card.

If you’re planning on visiting sometime soon, just use this article as a checklist to make sure you have everything on hand, and you’ll be sunning yourself on your favourite beach in no time.

Mexico doesn’t require that any of its visitors be vaccinated. However, your airline will. Be sure to download your Alberta Vaccine passport to present at the gate! We also recommend printing out a copy just in case something should happen to your phone.

All foreign citizens travelling to Mexico must fill out the Multiple Immigration Form, otherwise known as the Mexico Tourist Card !

The card itself is free, and you will need to print out the two-page copy and bring it with you. You can complete this tourist card 30 days prior to your arrival into Mexico. Also, be sure to hold onto this, and you’ll need to present it when you’re leaving the country (this is what the second page is for) so keep it safe!
