Cindy and Preston first met in Davenport, Iowa where they both went to college in 2017. They met on the dating app Bumble, where Cindy used her elaborate vocabulary to start the conversation with Preston by saying “Hey.” Preston asked Cindy to go to dinner, to which she agreed, but then changed the plan to breakfast at Village Inn instead. At breakfast they got so carried away in conversation that they didn’t even realize that the waitress had not been around to take their order. The waitress did eventually come around, but the spark between Cindy and Preston had already caught.

They both graduated and Preston asked Cindy to move to Denver. After settling in their new city, Preston proposed to Cindy. He tricked her into thinking they were going to a movie in one of their favorite local parks. Little did she know he had a photographer waiting in the woods next to one of their favorite picnic spots to capture the moment. This was during the pandemic, so they decided shortly after the proposal to elope at a local courthouse.

Now they are eager to celebrate their love with their friends and family. They hope you all can join them for a beautiful ceremony in November!
