The Town of Aurora is adjacent to a number of vacation areas that offer up a variety of accommodation options. Listed below are just 2 of the many nearby towns for out-of-towners to stay and explore for the night and/or weekend.

1. Skaneateles (~40 minutes from the venue)

The village of Skaneateles, located on Skaneateles lake, boasts a variety of hotels, inns and bed & breakfasts, a full calendar of activities and events, and a broad range of quality eateries.

2. Auburn (~20 minutes from the venue)

The City of Auburn is rich in history, arts and culture. As the largest city of Cayuga County, it offers a great array of hotels, museums, historic sites and national landmarks.

Note that we will have transportation to bring guests to and from the venue from these areas (see travel section for details).

With so many beautiful lakes in the area, we recommend finding an Airbnb (Airbnb) in the nearby area to enjoy the lakeside views as well as celebrate with us for the weekend! Below is a list of nearby lakes and areas we recommend for finding the best Airbnb for the night or weekend.

For guests staying in Auburn, we have arranged private transportation to bring guests to and from the Inns of Aurora. When the night comes to a close - keep an eye out for your desired shuttle time back to Auburn!

4:15pm: Transportation departs Auburn Hotels

There is only one shuttle time from Auburn to Aurora ahead of the ceremony, so you won't want to miss it!  

The same bus will be servicing both the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn, so do not be alarmed if you get down a little early and do not see a bus in front of your hotel!

11:15pm: Transportation departs Inns of Aurora for Auburn

Transportation to Auburn will continue to depart from Aurora throughout the evening. For guests planning to attend the after party - keep an eye out for the late night service back to Aurora (probably around 12:30/1:00am). 

For guests staying in Skaneateles, we have arranged private transportation to bring guests to and from the Inns of Aurora. When the evening comes to a close - keep an eye out for the shuttle heading back to Skaneateles!

4:00pm: Transportation departs Skaneateles Hotels

There is only 1 shuttle time from Skaneateles to Aurora ahead of the ceremony, so you won't want to miss it!

1 shuttle will be servicing all Skaneateles hotels. For guests staying at a Sherwood Inn property, please load the bus at the Sherwood Inn (26 W Genesee Street). 

For guests staying at Finger Lakes Lodge, please load the bus at Mirbeau Inn and Spa. Note the bus will stop first at the Sherwood Inn and then Mirbeau Inn and Spa, so don't be alarmed if you get there early and don't see a bus in from of the hotel!

11:15pm: Transportation departs Inns of Aurora for Skaneateles

The bus will shuttle back to Aurora to pick up the late night owls and after party goers, but keep in mind given the distance between Aurora and Skaneateles the bus will not return for it's late night shift until ~1:30/2am.
