Did you know that we met through an online dating app?!
Yes, indeed we did.
We met online and chatted away for a few weeks without having met in person. Things were pretty fun but it wasn't until we shared our mutual love of ice cream and rainbow sprinkles when sparks started to fly.
Pale Fire Brewing
So, yes, we were also thinking "Wow, there are very few adults in this world who truly appreciate rainbow sprinkles!"
Once we realized that, we had to meet in person and actual cell phone numbers where exchanged!
That very first date, was at Pale Fire Brewing, where we are so excited to start our "Forever Journey," and share that with you.
Truth be told, we were both a little skeptical about meeting. I mean, being an adult who openly says "I love rainbow sprinkles," can make you wonder who is on the other end of that message. But, after a few beers, which turned into last call, we where fairly smitten with each other and the rest is... well, history.
That night, we might have helped close down Pale Fire but we also opened the door to one pretty fantastic adventure.
Over the past 1,561 days, 7 hours, 30 minutes, and 10 seconds, we have filled each day with a whole lot of adventure, food, fun, shenanigans, and are inching closer to the date where we will say "I Do."
Guest Limitations
During COVID, we are doing our best to move forward with our ceremony and celebrations as gracefully as possible while maintaining safety procedures.
Due to that, we have extended invitations to certain friends and family for specific events to ensure we are capable of celebrating with as many persons as possible while under our 50 person maximum limit for the state of Virginia. We understand that may seem untraditional but as we work through these abnormal times, we ask for your understanding and grace.
Would you like to see what is happening from a distance?
We would love for you to be as included as you can be while respecting your wishes regarding COVID.
