1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal tropical attire.
2. What will the weather be like this time of year?
The average temperature in Rio de Janeiro in October for a typical day ranges from a high of 82°F (28°C) to a low of 68°F (20°C).There is very little humidity and few rainy days. Still warm enough for the beach but cool enough for a hike.
3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony will be outdoors, small fans and sunscreen recommended. The Reception will be held indoors.
5. What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
6. Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Absolutely, our events page will be available in the coming months so you area able to see all that we have planned for the weekend!
7. What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
8. How do I get to the venue?
The venue is located approximately 1.5. Hours away from the South Zone. Uber is the best and most affordable way to get to and from the venue with cost of around $25
9. What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
10. Where should guests park? Is parking free?
The venue has free parking available on site.
11. Are kids welcome?
Kids are welcome, please reach out to me so I can get total headcount.
12. Can I bring a date?
If you received a plus one or your guest's name is listed on your invitation, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends only.
13. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We don’t recommend looking for accommodations close to the wedding venue because the venue is located out of the way from the great tourist attractions. We have a discount codes for hotels located on the travel tab.
14. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Please RSVP no later than 1 September 2024 via our website or app.
15. Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
There will be a variety of traditional Brazilian Hors d’oeuvres and an Italian main course meal. The drinks include cafe items, non alcoholic beverages and a open bar so everyone can enjoy Brazil’s national cocktail Caipirinhas!
16. Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Uber is your best way to get to the venue. Van transportation will be provided to take guests back to a central location in zona sul.
17. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TheLimas so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
