We met, as all millennials meet, on Tinder. Chris messaged Kate, we set up a first date, and then Kate got a 101º fever and cancelled! Luckily, we rescheduled for just a few days later. At a bar. While Kate was on antibiotics and couldn't even have a beer (and...still sniffling and coughing). Despite the absolutely chaotic start, we hit it off and kept going on dates, including to Kate's law school prom.

A few years (and apartments and graduations and jobs and Tuck and a pandemic) later, we decided we should get married. Chris bought a ring, managed to hide it from Kate, and...devised a plan at 4 PM day of. Chris and Kate both had a long day at work, and decided to go get dinner and some wine at their favorite restaurant, Floriana. Chris took the ring out of its box, popped it in his pocket, and out the door we went.

After eating dinner, Chris went to the restaurant manager, showed him the ring, and said "so what should I do with this?" Out came two champagne glasses. Kate, thinking Chris ordered them champagne for no reason, exclaimed "ugh but we have to work tomorrow why did you get champagne?" Kate could not see the ring. In fact, she took a sip of champagne and still didn't see it. She did notice that Chris kept staring at her champagne and his eyes were bugging out of his head, so she started inspecting it and finally found the ring.

Kate obviously said yes, and now we can't wait to celebrate with you all!
