Emmanuella and I met at Parks and recreation camp summer 2019. After summer camp ended I moved to France for the first time and Emmanuella made it her business to call me daily to see how I was adjusting. Her checking on me everyday really stuck with me. Emmanuella aka Medschool is one the sweetest most funniest people I know.
Fun fact: I call her Medschool because I was binge watching the show "The Game" my first year living and France and she's going to medical school. That's my Medschool!!!
Oh my Yaya pooh what would I do without you? The person who made a big sister! Cayla and I have been through literally everything together. Cayla has made being a sister one of the best job's in the world. I always say all of my siblings were my first babies before I had my own. Cayla was my first best friend and will forever be my bestie!! You couldn't say we weren't twins Nikkia kept us in the matching outfits always. One of my favorite memories of Cayla is when she used to call me "sissy" thinking about it till this day it still warms my heart.
Fun fact: Cayla came with me the first time me and Marquis met for the first time.
Cassie is my cousin but more like my sister! Growing up every weekend I was at her house that was really my second home. Cassidy is the definition of a true ride or die!! She is one of my first friends ever we are three months apart. Growing up we did everything together you couldn't tell me that wasn't my sister! I remember when we were younger and we made this plan for us to open up our own dollar store when we grew up. I have so many memories of our childhood. Cassie is definitely the person you call when you need a good TU!!

Tayla baby! My baby sister who is the sweetest person ever. Tayla is the life of the party I've always said since we were younger she would be a party girl! Our favorite thing to do whenever were together is make our dad watch shows and movies he doesn't want to watch! Tayla is one of the most positive people I know she always looks at the bright side of every situation.
Fun Fact: Tayla is always the first person to tell me Happy Birthday every year!
BabyBun! Aka Auntie Cali is one of the youngest of my bridesmaid but her soul has been here before. Cali is so special to me I mean her birthday is 1.11.11! Every time I'm home to visit Cali spends the entire time at my house and I love every second of it. The relationship Cali and Marlee have melts my heart she really loves being an auntie!
Fun Fact: Cali's first time out the country was to visit us in France!
Desiree was my first friend living overseas. I would always see other wives having their group of friends or their one super close friend but I had never experienced it until I met Desiree. We clicked instantly!! It's so hard finding friends to really connect with while living aboard but Desiree came into my life at perfect time. We understood each others humor, and what this overseas life is really about we will forever always lead on each other and lift each other up when needed. We would spend almost everyday together in Cluj just kicking it in her house eating ramen , listening to the early 2000s taking turns making dinner every time. Also our husbands clicked instantly as well Patrick is like a big brother to Marquis.
Fun Fact: Desiree & Pat lived in the same exact house as us in Israel. ( Patrick played for Rishon a few years before Marquis played there)
Tamia has been my friend ever since I could remember 14 years to be exact. I do not even consider her a friend she's family for sure. Tamia and I met through her step mother and my mother being best friends. She is one of those friends where you guys do not have to speak everyday but everytime we talk and link up its all LOVE and great vibes. I appreciate her so much for always showing up for me.
Fun Fact: Marlee's middle name is Joellè named after Tamia's middle because I truly admire the type of woman Tamia is.
Malik and I met in ROTC our freshman year of high school. We've been close ever since. Likk is the type of friend you can hit up whenever and he's willing to stop what he's doing and listen. Also, he gives great advice once you're done talking. Once I got to college and asked Likk to come visit, he was on the next flight. Real love! A lot of people would make an excuse, but Likk will always find a way to make it happen.
Pat and I met in February 2021 when I moved to Romania to play for the team he played for already. I received his number from the coach before I came to the team so I can hit him up to know more about the situation. From the first day I met him in person we immediately became close and considered each other as family. The day before Mother's Day, both of our families went back to the United States and it was just us two. I would literally pull up to his apartment almost everyday so we could hold each other down until the end of the season. Pat is the older brother I never had! He keeps everything a hundred with me and wants the best for me. I respect him so much for that because it helps me not only in my profession, but in life period. We end up making it to the championship and end up winning the championship game on Father's Day, which was really special. We celebrated like crazy that night then a couple days later went home to our families. Much love my brother.
Donnie and I met in middle school (7th grade). It's funny how we met! We was in art class and he kept taking my color pencils I had on the table and he didn't even know me. That made us best friends though. That same day I saw him on my bus and found out that he live in my neighborhood. We have so many memories from middle school all the way up until now. Very good dude and always been in my circle and supported me till this day. One of the funniest friends I have, but also one of the most spiritual friends that I have. We been through it all. From playing outside together, fighting, getting in trouble in class, to transforming into grown men with major responsibilities, I love you like you're my mother's child. Before I left for France last summer I remember stepping out on my front porch talking and you ending the convo by saying "before you go I just want to pray for you!" I was really tearing up during that prayer. That meant a lot to me. Love you bro
It's crazy that I've been dating your sister for 3 years, married to her now, and we still have yet to meet in person. Any time you call Cheyanne and me and you end up talking, it feels like we been vibing for that long. Heard so much about you and can't wait to really meet you in person so we can turn up. Love bro
Tony and I met on his moms birthday, July 8th 2018, that was hosted at Cheyanne's moms house. I remember you asking me endless questions like you was Cheyanne's dad who didn't even ask me the many questions when I first met him. Detective Tony! When you need a good laugh, call Tony. Great uncle, father, son, brother, and friend. Grateful two have an uncle in law like you. Love you
Tom and I met when I was 7 years old running around our neighborhood playing tag, basketball, football, or riding bikes. My good friend, more like the little brother I never had, which is why I call him my JR. We have been through hell and back but always know I got you through whatever and I know you got me through whatever. Your mom looks at me as her oldest son and your grandma calls me her grandson. Watching you grow up and become the man you are today makes me proud! I had to whoop you a couple of times because you was wilding out during our high school days, but it was all out of love and to better you as a man. If you need some shoes Tom is the person to talk to. Love you my brother
