OUR PROPOSAL STORY
It happened on Wednesday 6th April 2022. Chandan few months ago mentioned we have a family wedding to go to. He made a fake wedding invitation card with two random names and all the venue information.On the day, when I arrived at the venue I saw him standing at the front of the chapel – no guests, no wedding, him and the photographer.
It was something out of a fairy tale.
It was a special moment for both of us. A moment that will be in our hearts forever.

HOW ME MET?
We were introduced through the family but we both didn’t believe in arrange marriages. Even when we had each other’s numbers for months we didn’t message each other. One day Jashwini on a holiday messaged me ‘I heard you’re looking for a girlfriend, I could be your new one.’
Since the ice was broken, we started speaking and met up on our first date at Franco Manca Covent Gardens. A first date is always awkward but not this one. We both got on really well and had loads to talk about. We then got kicked out from our table so then we ended up in a bar to continue our chats.
During our early years in the relationship, we had a long distance where I was in Cambridge most of the week. And the worse of all COVID. Difficult because we couldn’t always see each other but this was an ultimate test, which brought us closer.
After years of getting to know each other, we are now ready to get married and move on to the next adventuresChandan
