Many wouldn't know that Cathy & Mike almost missed their chance to meet one another. After a few messages here and there, and one canceled date, they finally rescheduled. On a frigid, winter evening, in the heart of East Village, they met in front of Thursday Kitchen - only to learn that there was a 2 hour wait! They decided to take their chances and walk up the block to come across Little Tong. A casual, first blind-date turned into hours of conversation, which was continued next door at Veniero's over some gelato. Closing down one of NYC's oldest Italian bakeries, Cathy & Mike began their story....

It took 2 months for Cathy to be introduced to Adonis, and Mike seemed to be the most nervous of all! But since that day, a new relationship was formed, creating this happy family of 3.
Cathy & Mike share the love of travel, and in a short period of time, they took every opportunity they could get to escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC.
Across Bermuda, Montréal, Hudson, Anguilla, San Diego and the Hamptons, each trip brought them closer to one another. Next stop - South of France & Paris!

On this happy Saturday, Mike gave Cathy the most memorable surprise at Gramercy Tavern. What she thought was an Anniversary dinner, was in fact a surprise proposal! Down on one knee, with all to see, Mike proposed to Cathy. They rushed out of the restaurant to go back to their home, excited to share the news with their parents over the phone. But to her surprise, Mike had gathered her family and close friends, who had all kept this a secret for over a month! It was truly an incredible evening filled with love...
