Flights

The best airport to fly into is RDU airport, which is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Durham and the wedding venue, Duke Gardens.

Transportation

Lyft and Uber are widely available in the Durham/Chapel Hill/Raleigh area and may be the easiest options to get around. There's plenty to do around downtown Durham and the area is fairly walkable. You may want to rent a car if you'd like to explore the surrounding area.

Things to Do

21c Hotel & Museum - A hip place to get a little culture with multiple floors of compelling and thought provoking art. While you're there, check out and perhaps sip a cocktail in an original bank vault.

Go hiking at Eno River State Park! The Eno River’s waters roll past mature forests, historic mill and home sites and river bluffs covered with flowering shrubs and across fords used by early settlers. The park offers nearly 30 miles of trails.

American Tobacco Campus - An interesting place to walk around and get a little Durham history. Lots of eateries are located here, including Tobacco Road Sports Cafe, the venue for the Welcome Reception.
