On April 23, 2008, not too long after moving to NYC after college, Catherine volunteered at a Tribeca Film Festival screening to meet new people. It was there that she met a curious, young man named Zack, who was attending the screening.
It was when Zack mentioned that he had a goal to go to all seven continents by the age of 30 (a goal of Catherine's as well), where they both realized that the two would at least become good friends.
Not only did they become friends, but also partners in crime in this thing called life. Over the next decade+, they experienced the world together (only at six continents though!), supported each other while pursuing higher education, adopted a beautiful soul in the form of a cat named Alfie, and most recently in Aug. 2019 moved down to North Carolina to be closer to family.
