Maid of Honor & Sister of the Bride
Cass prayed for a little sister everyday for a year and is pretty convinced that's why this "twinkle in Mom's eye" was born. Carli went from being Cass's little helper with the chores growing up to being our grown up roommate. Cass and Brendon have found many a teaching moment for Carli in the last 2 years they have lived together! But we'd be lying if we said she didn't teach us a thing or two. We joke all the time about how we are Carli's adult parents, which may have prepared us to take on the parenting thing for real.
Amanda Stieb
Sister of the Groom
Amanda and Brendon have been best friend/siblings since the beginning of course. Cass then met Amanda in 2014 and ironically deemed Amanda her sister. None of us expected this to actually come to fruition. Cass even allowed Amanda to pretend to be her from 2015 to 2019, so as far as we are concerned we are all already family.
Tori Kaspar
High School Friend
Cass met Tori on a fateful afternoon wagon ride at the age of 3. They then spent the next 14 years playing with Tori's plethora of toys, carpooling to school, and watching movies in their collective basements when the parents wouldn't let them go out. Tori went to a college in a different state and Cass decided to travel for 4 years after college. So after 9 years of living apart the next logical decision was to have Tori move in! We all lived through the pandemic and raising a baby Appa together, if we can make it through that we are certain we can make it through anything.
Elizabeth Vacek
College Friend
E was the first friend Cass made when she went to SDSM&T. Poor Elizabeth wanted to go by her full name, but Cass thought it was too long so they came to the compromise to call her "E". They proceeded to go everywhere together freshman year including joining AΩE. Without Cass, E was introverted and without E, Cass probably would have went off the rails. E became the whole friend groups mom and continues to be Cass's main source of advise. So much so that we ended up buying houses only 1 mile apart.
Becca Vanderhulst
College Friend
Becca and Cass have pretty much done it all together! It all started when they joined ΑΩΕ together. Then they became roommates for 2 years, graduated together, and proceeded to go on a Euro trip together. Since then they have made sure to visit once a year even while living in different states. Including a trip to Banff where Cass took her on an adventure to find a mystery tea house.
Megan Brown
College Friend
Cass met Megan 2nd semester Sophomore year when they both competed in the Mr. & Ms. Mines Competition. They bonded over not winning and Cass convinced Megan to join AΩE the next year. Megan then became Cass's "little" even though she technically is older than Cass by 3 months. Since college Megan has been a constant go to when Cass needs a long phone talk, even if they aren't talking about anything in particular.
Taylor Ehlis
College Friend
Taylor was a wee freshman when Cass was a junior. Cass declared Taylor would be her "little" in AΩE. It was safe to say the two were quick friends and Cass took her under her wing immediately. Cass then lived with Taylor and all the "rookies" her Senior year and they had maybe too much fun. Since then the two have tried to meet up once a year and they keep up with each other via house party and their fantasy football league.
Ceri Klopp
College Friend
Ceri was of course another AΩE sister of Cass's just a year younger than Cass in school. The two bonded over cats and wine, but became close friends when both lived in Fort Worth, TX for the 10 months Cass was there. This time was some of Cass's fondest memories. Since then the two have kept in touch and visited each other in multiple states. Now Brendon and Cass can not wait to meet her and Alex's baby Grey ASAP!
Russell Neiman
Best Man & College Friend
Brendon and Russell met at college as Russell was a year older in his fraternity. The first meaningful engagement of the two being Russell threatening Brendon for *lightly* kicking his door in. Following this incident their relationship grew over their love of Sons of Anarchy and playing 7-11-Doubles during commercials. Later that year they became roommates and the rest is history.
Conor Tomac
Officiant & Brother of the Bride
Conor lived the life that Brendon had dreamt of from a young age. Being able to attend the great University of Nebraska Lincoln. So its no wonder when he visited Cass at School of Mines that him and Brendon hit it off. They were able to witness a wrestling match, watch a truck being stolen, and got kicked out of the party all in one weekend. Even after college was over they kept in touch. Although it was a lot of Brendon nagging Conor for a job. None the less the communication kept a tie to the Tomac family which inherently was Brendon's ticket to the fourth of July, and you should know the rest.
Devin Kroeber
College Friend
Devin Kroeber is a man of many talents. He helped shape Brendon through college building him to the man he is today. Whether its life advice or something else he is always there to help. Even when the two are not physically together, they can always be reminded of each other by the forever permanent, never covered, image engraved on their legs.
Trey Wammen
College Friend
Trey and Brendon became closer in the later years of college. Wammen was able to meet so many kids that went through School of Mines because of the duration of his tenure at the school. This was a blessing in disguise, as he was then able to become very close with Brendon. Brendon notably was able to help the Wammen's rip down a hangar and officially earned his ranching belt from Gil Wammen (father to Trey).
Landon Graf
College Friend
Landon is the life of the party. He brings the best music, the comedic relief, and anything else he deems necessary to make a night successful. Brendon immediately gravitated towards Landon on move in day for college as he was the best dressed freshman in the class. From day one, to Brendon's last year of college they were friends, where they rounded out the whole experience with Landon being the third roommate at the Wrinkle Ranch.
Dylan Severyn
College Friend
If you have not got the theme of the groomsmen you might now. Sev was another one of Brendon's roommates. However, that is not where they met. Instead they met as freshman in a packed fraternity house. Dylan had on of the most impressive afro a guy has ever seen. That being the conversation starter they both talked life and how they hated their freshman roommates. This common bond helped elevate their friendship into being life long brothers.
Tommy Ervin
High School Friend
Most likely the last roommate, but certainly not the least. Thomas Ervin. Tommy has bounced around quite a bit in life, frequenting three different high schools and now moving to Omaha. Him being a wandering soul, however, has never disrupted the friendship. Wherever he goes he brings Brendon along with. An excellent basketball player, but he's never won the Denver Nuggets Skills Challenge like Brendon, so tough to say who is better. Its hard to be in a bad mood when Tommy is around as he will do whatever he can to pick you up and if you refuse to chipper up he will just start making fun of you until you laugh.
Connor Riley
High School Friend
Connor is one of Brendon's oldest childhood friends. From the minute they bonded over Husker football in the second grade to today. There is never a dull moment when these two get together. Some would even classify their relationship as reckless.
Casey Tomac
Father of the Bride
Casmir Tomac, father of the Bride, and the inventor of all the best dad advise one could need. A couple include but are not limited to: always have a mental map and go on vacation at least once a year. Casey has also invented things like the dad power walk and the dad snapchat. The best dad a girl could ask for. Other than the fact that he is now trying to convince Cass and Brendon to get pregnant as soon as possible, because he would like to be a grandpa.
Dawn Tomac
Mother of the Bride
Dawn Tomac is the craftiest of moms, anything you need she's got it or can make it for you with love. She is famous for her salsa and quilting! Dawn is also the infectious control queen, which happened to be very useful these last 2 years. You will find her with Casey traveling all around the world spending all their free time living life on vacation.
Dave Stieb
Father of the Groom
Dave Stieb, father of the groom, is the most skilled man you will ever meet. He will master any hobby you throw his way while also working hard during the day. Whether its fixing an airplane which is his trade, brewing an award winning beer, or grilling/smoking an amazing slab of meat, he can do it all! Also don't be alarmed if he is doing the worm in the middle of the dance floor.
Lynette Stieb
Mother of the Groom
Lynette Stieb is the all around best person to have in your life. Someone you hope and pray to come across and someone you feel so lucky to have as a mother. A very empathetic lady who will drop whatever she is doing to help you out and never argue or complain. Find her side by side with Dave taste testing his home brew while giving out only positive criticisms!
Lauren Shea
Personal Attendant & Sister-In-Law of the Bride
Lauren is Cass's future sister-in-law, that question is coming any day now we're pretty sure lol. Larn has really become one of the family! She is also dog mom to Benny, our Appa babies best friend! We'll keep her, seeing as she's the first girlfriend we actually like, but don't tell the others that ;)
Clarissa Stevenson

Clarissa is another AΩE sister of Cass's. Cass lived with Clarissa her Senior year when Clarissa was a rookie. Cass would often burst into their room and demand the young girls hangout with her and Clarissa was always willing. Since college the two have tried to meet up once a year and they keep up with each other via house party and their fantasy football league.
Jace Anderson
Usher & College Friend
The man, the myth, the legend; Jace Anderson. If you need to know anything about bass fishing this is your guy. A one stop shop for all the information you never knew you would need. Jace has an impressive amount of charisma and charm about him. If he started a cult there is a good chance we would all join it. From 4 am heavy metal jam sessions to most recently a powerlifting competition, Brendon and Jace have done it all.
Lucian Bedard
Usher & College Friend
For sure in the top 5 of best looking people attending the wedding is Lucian Bedard. If you are having trouble finding Lucian he is either off producing music or jumping on the trampoline. Lucian and Brendon became family after spending countless hours camping in the forests of Michigan. He is also the sole reason Brendon passed differential equations.
Jarek Haverluk

The man with the best hair, Jarek Haverluk. Jarek is a fellow Geological Engineer like Brendon. These two spent most of their waking hours together doing things other than studying for their classes. JΔRΣK also produces music and tours around playing spots around the Dakota's. When he makes it big he has a spot on the team for Brendon as merch manager. On their off time from touring you can find them trancing around the wilderness finding cool rocks to bring home as decorations.

Ben & Michelle Scholtz
Host Couple & Aunt/Uncle of the Bride
Ben & Michelle are Cass's Aunt and Uncle, as Michelle is Dawn's sister. Michelle & Ben have baby sat Cass, let her stay at their Minneapolis house for an engineering camp, and now have Cass and Brendon's dream home. We couldn't do this day with out their help.
