We met the day she was born. It was a very rough start. Since her favorite passed time was getting me in trouble. As she got older, the closer we got and the more we understood each other. Today, she is my best friend.

If I had to choose one favorite memory from all the great times together, I would choose the day when we went to the Christmas market in Brussels. Drinks, overcoming the fear of heights on the ferris wheel together and having deep conversations - that night is an important piece of puzzle in our friendship.

Si tuviera que elegir un recuerdo favorito de todos los grandes momentos juntos, elegiría el día en que fuimos al mercado navideño en Bruselas. Beber, superar juntos el miedo a las alturas en la rueda de la fortuna y tener conversaciones profundas: esa noche es una pieza importante del rompecabezas en nuestra amistad.

Favorite Memory
Carolina and I met and became friends instantly whilst studying abroad in Belgium. We have a plethora of hilarious stories from our time partying and studying in Leuven. One of my favourite memories includes the time we fell asleep on the train twice in one morning after a night out. We slept for quite some time as we travelled the length of the country; granted, it's not very big, but I am sure the morning commuters were very amused by the two of us napping and told to stay alert by the train conductor to ensure not to miss our stop for the third time.
I look forward to celebrating the wedding of Carolina and Brendan as they embark on life together as a married couple!

Carolina y yo nos conocimos y nos hicimos amigas instantáneamente mientras estudiaba en el extranjero en Bélgica. Tenemos una plétora de historias divertidas de nuestro tiempo de fiesta y estudio en Lovaina. Uno de mis recuerdos favoritos incluye el momento en que nos quedamos dormidos en el tren dos veces en una mañana después de una noche de fiesta. Dormimos bastante tiempo mientras viajábamos a lo largo del país; De acuerdo, no es muy grande, pero estoy seguro de que los viajeros de la mañana se divirtieron mucho cuando los dos dormimos la siesta y el conductor del tren nos dijo que se mantuvieran alertas para asegurarse de no perder nuestra parada por tercera vez.
