The Before Time
Back in September 2013, during our first semester of university, we met in business management class and became fast friends.
Along with Kiara and other uni buddies, we spent a ton of time together - studying, partying, and just enjoying each other's company. Good times!
The Beginning
About 8 months later, Gabriel and I grew closer and he finally mustered up the courage to ask me out. And guess what? I said yes! It was May 14th, 2014 when we officially started dating.
Goofing around

Carolina and I have always had a playful dynamic where we constantly tease each other and goof around. It's all good fun, but I still can't figure out why she's always going for my ears!

Meeting more Bergs
One of the perks of dating Gabriel has been getting to spend lots of time with the Bergs. They're always up to something fun and it's never a dull moment with them!

The Bergs are a unique family, they're like a race of their own.
Birthdays together
Celebrating birthdays together has always been special for us. This one in particular was a great memory shortly after moving in together.
Friends that are Family

Some of the friends we made along the way have become our chosen family - the kind you make through shared experiences and time spent together. We miss you dearly and can't wait to see you again!

Meeting La Marnitt
Meeting Carolina's mom was one of the most heartwarming experiences for me. Her kind and accepting nature made me feel like a part of her family from the moment we met. When she traveled a long way to see us, it was an unforgettable moment that I will always cherish.

Spending time with her was such a sweet and loving experience that I will forever hold close to my heart.
First International Trip

After dating for 3 years, we finally had our first opportunity to travel abroad together. We spent a grueling 17 hours freezing in the Shanghai airport to catch our next 15-hour flight. But once we finally arrived, we were able to enjoy an amazing time in New York City!

Thank you Vanessa and Diego for showing us this wonderful city.

Xmas in Texas

After Gabriel's family moved away from Taiwan and we him missing them dearly, we made a second stop in our trip to the states to spend the holidays with them and got to meet the extended family.

OMG We Graduated!

We finally made it! Four long years are now behind us, and we couldn't be happier. Although it wasn't easy, we got through it together and overcame many obstacles that made us stronger as a couple. Along the way, we also made some amazing friendships that played a big role in our relationship.

Puppers and more puppers

It seems like no matter where we go or what we do, we always seem to be surrounded by furry friends. From Gabriel's family dog to our friends' pets, they always bring a smile to our faces and a warmth to our hearts. You all know how much we love puppers.

Halloween's Together

Every Halloween, we love to dress up and have some fun. It's one of our favourite holidays! We enjoy the creative costumes. It's always a great time to let loose, be silly, and create unforgettable memories.

BOOP

Four years together, full of laughs, hugs, and kisses that have brought us closer every day. We cherished every moment and always looked forward to the future.

Our Favourite Time of the Year

Christmas is our absolute favourite time of the year! We love nothing more than spending it with our loved ones and friends, and hosting festive parties. Whether it's sipping hot cocoa by the fire, wrapping gifts, or simply enjoying each other's company, it is always a wonderful time.

Best Birthday Ever!!
We've always made a big deal out of birthdays, but one year we took it to a whole new level.  We KIDNAPPED Gabriel, and had a WILD PAINTBALL BATTLE!!
Family Couples Trip

We couldn't leave Taiwan without one last adventure, so we decided to take a final trip around the island. And to make it even more special, Carolina's brothers joined us for the adventure. It turned out to be a wild week full of family shenanigans and bonding.

Thank you Jorge and Gabriela for visiting from Japan for this last trip around Taiwan.

Goodbye Taiwan
Taiwan, oh Taiwan. We'll never forget the adventures we had on that island! But as much as we loved it there, it was time for us to move on to new challenges and experiences.

After eight years for Carolina and a whopping 14 for Gabriel, we bid farewell to the stunning Formosan land.
Moving to Australia
2019 brought about the biggest change of our lives as we packed up and moved to Australia.

We packed up our entire lives into just a couple of suitcases, as we made the move to start a new chapter in Australia, and we were excited to take on this challenge together as a team.
The Australian Bergs

As we embarked on our new adventure in Australia, we were grateful to have even more family to welcome us with open arms and support us as we navigated the Aussie life. We couldn't have done it without their love and encouragement.

Our First Child
2020 was a difficult year for us, but after all the heartbreak, it brought with one of the most wonderful parts of our life.

With much excitement and anticipation, we welcomed our first furry family member, Baby Luna.
Making new Friends
The pandemic may have been tough for all of us, but it brought some unexpected blessings too! We have met some awesome people here in Australia and they've become part of our chosen family.

To our Aussie mates: thanks for making us feel at home here, we're not going anywhere!
The YuTing visits
As life got back to normal, we were thrilled to have Carolina's first Taiwanese friend come to visit us. She's been a close friend of Carolina's for years - even before I came into the picture - and I'm happy to say that she's now a friend of mine too!
Kiara visits
After years apart, Kiara finally visited us in Australia, having moved to Germany before we left Taiwan. She got to spend a whole moth of Luna and many a trip around Sydney and NSW.

From camping in the bush to tasting Aussie wines in the valley, we hope you enjoyed it and we see you soon.
Our second child

Because one fur child was not enough, 2 years after welcoming Baby Luna, we decided to add to our furry family and bring home our little Stella, even though we didn't know the level of mischief she would get into!

First Berg Married
After four long years away, we finally made it back to Taiwan last November 2022, and it was such a joy to be reunited with family and friends. But the highlight of our trip was definitely witnessing the oldest Berg, Jason, tie the knot and welcoming our dear sister-in-law Ollie into the family.

We are so grateful to have been a part of your special day and can't wait to make more wonderful memories together.
Our little family
Through life's ups and downs, we have always had each other and the unconditional love of our furry children.

As we look forward to celebrating our love and commitment to each other, we know that the four of us make up the perfect little family, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
