Preston and I met because we both decided to pursue our MBA's at Vanderbilt University. I was moving to Nashville from Tulsa, OK and Preston was coming home after being away from Music City for 10 years.
At Vandy's Welcome Weekend in April 2016, I walked up to a group of fellow students engaging in the world's most awkward introduction. Preston was one of those people. We then continued to spew awkward comments and awful but funny jokes at each other throughout the weekend. *Flirting*
Fast forward to present and not much has changed-- we're still that awkward and funny couple that we were from Day 1. Some highlights of our relationship have been traveling the world, collecting Michelin stars, guzzling fabulous wine, meeting each other's friends and family, debating whether Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings is cooler, watching countless seasons of countless shows, planning the same wedding three times, and much, much more.
Suffice it to say that we're beyond excited to consummate our love of life and each other in March 2021. AND, we're so excited to share this experience with all of y'all in Tucson!
