We "bumbled" on the Bumble app in the early summer of 2017. My maid of honor and best friend had just left from visiting me for the weekend and I thought I would check out this dating app again...and there was Ken!
I had been anticipating a proposal since Ken had asked my dad for my hand. Angela and Tim were coming for a visit and wanted to go to a place called the Sekrit Theatre to take pictures for "her birthday". I suspected that this might be the proposal after looking up the pictures but there was a Valentine's event the night of the proposal and it threw me off.
Looking back now there were lots of clues that something was going on but I had convinced myself that it wasn't going to be that day and didn't notice any of them. We headed down to meet Ken to take pictures but the there was lots of delays due to a couple before us running in to our time.
I was totally surprised when I came around the corner and saw him on his knee with a ring box on it. I couldn't stop laughing or smiling.
I am still floating on a cloud and can't believe I have a fiancé and in few months will have a husband!
