I had just moved to Culver City, so my friend Tamara invited me to a game night at her friend Ping's house. When I first met Ping, she was warm and inviting, even though I was an unexpected guest. I was immediately drawn to her brilliant smile and laugh, she just lit up the room and everyone around her. I remember, I was getting ice and I noticed she had big magnets on her fridge that said “I ❤️SNOW." If you don’t know, I'm obsessed with Skiing/Snowboarding and have snowflake tattoos. After seeing that, I knew I had to get to know this girl. As the night went on, it became apparent that we are kindred spirits. Little did I know that a simple night of board games would change my life forever.

I was hosting a game night one weekend, my friend Tamara brought Caleb and introduced us. He caught my attention when he destroyed my team at Pictionary…. I thought he was really handsome, bright and sweet. As the evening progressed, I became more drawn to him. I ended up inviting everyone to go sailing the following weekend, even though Caleb was the only one I wanted to invite. I really wanted to see him again and get to know him better.
Who knew Mr. Right would just walk into my house one day?!

You know you grew up watching those chic flicks, when the character kisses his/her true love for the first time, it’s like fireworks, and every single cell in your body is tingling? Well, it’s true! It just felt so right and also terrifying at the same time.
We knew we have found each other then.

We truly love every moment with each other; be it binge watching Netflix, having pastries at our favorite cafe, and even running errands!
Since then, we have also sailed, scuba dived and snowboarded as we traveled the world; the journey is so much more meaningful and precious when we have each other.
Can’t wait to begin the next chapter of our life together!

It was our first day in Vienna, Austria. Ping and I both love to travel, so proposing overseas was the obvious choice.
We spent the day wandering the streets and taking in the sights of the magnificent city; in the evening, we planned to attend a concert at the Schönbrunn Palace, where Mozart had performed. With its monumental fountains and majestic gardens, I knew that would be the perfect place to propose. I wanted to have an intimate proposal with Ping, but after touring the palace and navigating the garden labyrinths, I became nervous with how crowded it was.
Luckily everyone seemed to leave once the hour struck 7, before we knew it, we were all alone in the massive garden. I decided it was a perfect time to take pictures in front of the Neptune Fountain, so I put the phone on a tripod and got on one knee.

We both always wanted a destination wedding, it echoes our love for traveling and adventure. Bali just feels like the natural choice; and we absolutely love the chapel we will be having our ceremony! So, Bali it is!
