We wanted our reception to feel like a real celebration. Not just of our marriage but also of our relationships with each of our guests. And, we wanted to bring more than just dancing to to this party. Southside Social definitely checked all of the boxes we had for our reception. With bowling, pool tables, skee ball, ping pong, shuffleboard, and giant jenga we figured there would be something fun for everyone. Heavy hors 'd'oeuvres and desserts will be offered along with an open bar. We've also reserved the private loft so we'll be able to spend plenty of quality time with our guests.

We will be utilizing street parking and the convenient paid parking lots.

Are kids welcomed?

Unfortunately, at the time of our reception the venue will be 21 and older only.

What should I wear?

Whatever you like! This is obviously a more casual setting but don't let that limit your choices. Our wedding was always meant to be a fun, unique night out for our guests. So, wear whatever makes you feel pretty (or handsome). Renée will be bowling in her wedding dress and Brandon will definitely be shooting pool in his suit. 

Why did your wedding plans change?

Even the best laid plans are subject to change. As our original wedding had been planned for over a year, scrapping it to start the planning process over was heartbreaking experience for us. Although our ceremony is now limited to our immediate family and the wedding party, we are not considering our wedding complete without our friends and extended family. We hope to see everyone at the reception and we know you'll enjoy this new plan just as much (if not more) than our original.
