STELLENBOSCH & FRANSCHOEK

Wine Tram

The Wine Tram is the perfect way to make the most out of the world famous wine region.

Hop on and off one of the tram lines to see the best that the area has to offer.

Tram lines that stop at Zorgvliet are the Navy and Burgundy lines.

Other personal favourites are Babylonstoren, Boschendal and Pigcasso.

You can also go on an organised wine tour by either mountain bike or electric bicycle.

If the answer is yes, you're probably lying, shame on you!

Jonkershoek Nature Reserve

If all of the above still has you left with energy, we highly recommend to venture into the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, located right in between Stellenbosch and Franschoek.

Think impressive valleys, beautiful waterfalls and incredible panoramic views.

Hiking and walking trails range from 1h to 7.5h.

KIRSTENBOSCH

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

This incredibly beautiful and large botanical garden was the place of choice for Charles' proposal.

Keep an eye out for the 'Canopy Walk Way' where Charles went down on one knee, Britt immediately said yes, and Sally was too shocked to keep the camera pointed in our direction. ; )

Make sure to bring water, as it can be a steep walk.

Some Table Mountain hiking trails start here.

Pro tip: bring a pic nic or order one from the Kirstenbosch Tea Room and Mojo Restaurant inside the gardens.

CAPE TOWN

Bo-Kaap

A historic area characterized by brightly coloured houses.

This instagrammable area is a must see when visiting Cape Town.

Table Mountain / Lion's Head

The top of Table Mountain can be reached via cable car or a number of hiking trails.

If you have slightly less time but still fancy a hike, try reaching Lion's Head by foot.

If you're more of an adrenaline junkie, you can also view the area by jumping out of a plane.

V&A Waterfront

The Victoria & Albert Waterfront offers a laid back vibe with lots of good food and shopping opportunities.

You can park underneath the main buildings.
