We were so excited to travel to Ireland together. February 17th was the start of another chapter in our lives. Our day began with an adventure from Northern Ireland. The morning started from Belfast, where we hiked along the emerald cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. One of us was enjoying the magical forty shades of green along the coast and sea of blues, while the other was clenching the tiny ring box and crossing 100 feet above the crashing waves. Later that day we traveled to Giants Causeway, a stretch across the Irish Sea filled with 40,000 black basalt hexagon columns. As we climbed the coastal stones, John grabbed my hand and pulled me in. He quickly bent down on one knee and popped the question of a lifetime! It was the perfect way to start the rest of our lives together.
