Our story began in February 2015 with a chance encounter. From the first night we met, we were inseparable. On April 21, 2015, on a seemingly normal date in Long Branch, New Jersey, Alex had disappeared for about 20 minutes. Eventually he returns and when they walk along the boardwalk and meander onto the beach, Brianna sees written in the sand, “Will you be my girlfriend?” which she replied “OF COURSE.” This was the first of many “Yes’s” in our relationship.

In 2017, Brianna said another "yes" as Alex asked her to go on their first vacation together as a couple to California! We started in LA and drove to Napa Valley (a whopping 9 hour drive!) But these 9 hours flew by so quickly and surprisingly became our favorite part of our trip (and if you know anything about Alex’s driving, then you understand why). We visited many wineries in Napa, including the one Alex eventually proposes at ;) (spoiler alert!)

In May 2021, after getting sick of eating takeout food in our car, we decided to take a vacation back to Napa Valley. We knew it was a place that we loved and we wanted a familiar place given everything that had happened during the pandemic. We had created a jam-packed itinerary to hit all our favorite wineries and restaurants that we have been dying to revisit. On the third day of the trip, which was May 28, 2021, we went back to one of our favorite wineries, Castello di Amorosa.

When we arrived, the castle was empty except for the staff. We were greeted by a tour guide, who told us that due to Covid, they were restricting people on the premise, which is why Brianna was not suspicious! We toured the basement of the castle, sampled wine straight from the barrels and learned all about the history of the winery.

The last part of the tour was climbing the tallest tower and as we reached the top, there were rose petals everywhere. Alex led Brianna to a table where there were beautiful flowers overlooking an amazing view of the vineyard and he got down on one knee and proposed. This would be the third important “Yes!” of their relationship.

Now as we prepare for our fourth “yes” as we become husband and wife, we cannot imagine taking this step without our friends and family by our side. We are so happy to share this special day with you and cannot wait to celebrate all night long.
