Wedding Location Belize
The location of the wedding is now in the town of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye Island, the largest island just off mainland Belize. To get to the island you must first fly into Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE).
United, Southwest, Delta and American Airlines all fly to Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) from Colorado,Texas and California. Flights can vary between $500-$700 per person.
There are two ways to get to the island:
1) A hopper plane which is a 15 minute direct flight from BZE airport into San Pedro (SPR) costing $120-$140/pp round trip. This is our preferred method which gives you a beautiful view from the plane and the most time on the island.
There are 2 airlines that fly to San Pedro from BZE airport, Tropic Air and Maya Island Air. Flights run daily every hour or 2. These airlines are in the domestic flights area once you exit customs.
Second option is a 1hr water taxi - This first requires a 30 minute taxi from the BZE airport to the water taxi terminal in Belize City ($25). Once at the water taxi terminal you will purchase a ticket from Belize City to San Pedro on San Pedro Belize Express ($50/pp round trip) or Ocean Ferry Belize ($25/pp round trip). Schedules below.
