Lorena Guardia

Bhumi has known Lorena since college but the friendship goes well beyond that. They survived small town life in Georgia, grad school, life as new professionals, and navigating young adulthood. Lorena also witnessed Urav and Bhumi's relationship from first date all the way to wedding planning! Bhumi wouldn't want to celebrate without her best friend and forever roommate by her side.

Shivani Patel
Bhumi met Shivani through Urav's best friend Krish and they were both nervous what would happen if they didn't get along since the boys are so close. Luckily, we bonded right away over making fun of the boys, their love for wearing leggings as pants, and cheesy Christmas movies. Krish and Shivani have become more like family than friends and Bhumi is so happy Shivani will be there to celebrate their wedding.
Shannon Krawitz
Shannon and Bhumi met in college but didn't really bond until they struggled through life in New York City together. They survived frigid temperatures, small grocery stores, and crowded subways and reminded each other that life Florida awaited them. Shannon and her husband Adam became Bhumi's home away from home and for that she'll be forever grateful. Bhumi is so happy that Shan will take a break from her world travel to attend the wedding!
Kate Maier
Kate claims Bhumi and her didn't become friends until high school but Bhumi has the embarrassing middle school pictures to prove otherwise. Whenever the start of the friendship, they ended up at the University of Miami together and even became roommates for a few years. Though Kate is living her best Hollywood life Bhumi is so glad they've kept in touch and is so happy that Kate will finally get to live out her dream of attending an Indian wedding.
Krishan Patel
Urav and Krishan go way back and the running joke is that Krishan follows every decision Urav makes. He even moved to Florida and attended the same nursing program as Urav. These two are inseparable and have so much in common that Bhumi and Shivani wonder if they're long lost relatives. Urav was actually visiting Krishan in Jacksonville when he first texted Bhumi! From that first text to now, Urav is so excited to have his best friend by his side for the wedding weekend.
Bhavik Patel
Urav considers Bhavik his second little brother, and like a true brotherly relationship he'll always be bitter about the time Bhavik crossed him up at basketball court in Jacksonville. Even so, he couldn't be happier that Bhavik moved across the pond to grace all of us with his one liners in his British accent. Urav can't wait to celebrate with Bhavik there and expects Bhavik to laugh hysterically at all of his jokes throughout the weekend.
Yash Patel
Urav and Yash may be cousins but Yash has always treated Urav like his little brother, looking out for him and taking him under his wing. They lived together in Zambia and then found themselves neighbors again in Orlando. These two went from seeing each through the awkward teenage years to now living through the ups and downs of adulthood. Urav is glad to have Yash, his wife and adorable son with him through his big weekend.
Matthew Ramirez
Urav and Matt go all the way back to the teenage days where they spent their days goofing off in school, watching basketball, and downing entire frozen pizzas in between classes at Valencia. They stayed close friends through the years and now Matt even looks out for Urav's family on his night shifts as a police officer. If Urav is ever in a bind, he knows Matt is the guy to call. Urav is happy to have Matt there and for him to experience his first Indian wedding!
Margi Patel
Bride’s Sister
Margi is not only Bhumi's sister, but also her best friend. They're so close that Urav and Rucheet get a kick out of making fun of how much they talk to each other all day long (but they're just jealous that they're not in on the inside jokes). Margi is also the whole reason we will be coming together for this wedding (she set them up!), so it's only fitting that she plays a special part in the wedding weekend.

Rucheet Patel
Bride’s Brother in Law
Rucheet may not be related by blood, but he is truly the big brother Bhumi always wanted. Even better, he and Urav have become close friends as well! We are so glad to celebrate with Ruch by our side.
Shaahil Patel
Groom’s Brother
Urav's little brother is living his best life working and living in New Jersey but we know he is excited to make a trip back down to sunny Florida and see his whole family for the wedding. Urav and Shaahil always have each other's backs and we can't wait to have Shaahil at the wedding celebrating with us!
Baby Elani
Bride's niece

Baby Elani was the best engagement present Bhumi and Urav could've asked for. This sweet little girl will likely steal the show at the wedding and they wouldn't have it any other way.
