Wedding Day
The wedding will begin at 5pm (please arrive for 4.30pm)!
Drinks and good food will flow, and there will be a live band after dinner for those that want to show off some moves. We can't wait to share our special day with you all!
Don't forget that South Africa is very hot at this time of year so please dress accordingly friends!

Pool Party
On the Sunday afternoon, we'll gather around the pool for a final day/night of partying. There will be more wine and fabulous food to enjoy together and tales from the night before will be told!
For those that wish to have a special experience, there will be wine tastings in the Wine Estate's Tasting Area. You will either join the 2pm or the 3pm group and set off to sample some superb wines before returning back to the Pool Party.

Wine Tasting Experience
We'd love to treat you to a wine tasting experience at Vrede en Lust - a wine estate farm dating back to 1688 and offering award-winning wines.
Perfect for you to enjoy before returning back to the Pool Party, head over to their Tasting Area (with panoramic views of the Simonsberg Paarl mountains) and sample some of their boutique wines.
N.B. There will be 2 wine tasting groups: the 1st group at 2pm and the 2nd group at 3pm.
Flights
The closest airport to the wedding venue is: Cape Town International (CPT).
Flights for December 2022 will be released 12 months before. We urge you to book your flights as EARLY as possible to get the best rates.

Car Hire
Uber operates in Cape Town and in the Cape Winelands. Cape Town is approx 45mins-1hr drive away from the Winelands.
We do however recommend you hire a car. This is so that you can easily explore Cape Town and the Winelands as there is much to see/do!
There are also safari experiences you can access within 4-5hrs drive from Cape Town (if you didn't want to fly north for a safari in the Kruger).

There is so much to experience in South Africa, so we recommend you enjoy a holiday before/after the wedding!
Cape Town
Capital of the 'Rainbow Nation', Cape Town is one of the world's most loved cities. With its rich history, fascinating culture, pristine beaches, craggy mountains, hip bars and world-renowned restaurants, it really is an AWESOME city to explore.
Cape Winelands
With endless leafy vineyards stretching towards purple mountains in the distance, the Cape Winelands area is truly breathtaking. The perfect haven for wine and food lovers, here you will find a plethora of wineries, quirky coffee shops, award-winning restaurants and stunning hotels (perfect for relaxing and cooling off in the swimming pool).
Safari
For the ultimate safari experience, fly north to Johannesburg and get a transfer flight into the bush. There are a number of safari lodges in and around the Kruger National Park, each offering comfortable/luxury accommodation and daily game drives to see the Big 5. A once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed!
It is our pleasure to accommodate you for 3 nights whilst we share in all the wedding festivities together!
You will either stay on the Vrede en Lust wine estate or at nearby guest houses/apartments (all of which will be no more than a 5 minutes drive/Uber ride away from the venue).
Once our final guest list has been confirmed, we will let you know where you will be staying.
