We first met during one of the worst snowstorms Canada could offer. The icy weather couldn't hide the warmth I felt in that instant and in those few hours. From that day forward, our love story was etched in snowflakes, forever melting away the cold with laughter and silliness.

Our long-distance relationship made us travel across countries more often than we went to the grocery store. The week leading up to the travel, we would plan for things to do over the weekend and the week after was spent reminiscing. Although, Priyanka would say spending the time apart was one of the hardest things to do, I loved the anticipation and excitement of seeing her again.

Clearly, Ayush was pretty content with the long distance and left up to him we’d still be doing that. I, on the other hand had had enough. After moving to Canada, I swore I would never move countries again but cupid and God had different plans. Love truly is blind (and stupid) - to fir pahunch gayee main Boston apne aankhon pe pyaar ki patti baandh kar.

We tried. We tried every excuse in the book to delay it for as long as we could. #Finally, we caved and agreed to get married – that was back in 2021. While we were at it though, we traveled the world “looking for a venue” – went to Spain, saw places in Mexico, explored Boston, New York, India and Portugal, to finally land in Priyanka’s backyard :). Now, we can’t wait to see you, can’t wait to meet you, and can’t wait to dance with you in Toronto.
Home really is where the heart is. My home, my heart is wherever Priyanka would laugh the loudest and dance the longest.

After finally picking a venue, September was our month of choice and we were trying really hard to make that happen. October 22nd just logistically worked out better. Digging through our emails, this is what we found. Maybe it was meant to happen exactly when it did.
