Guayabera formal
La temperatura promedio en la zona es entre 23 y 27 °C, por lo que recomendamos llevar ropa fresca y cómoda / It will be warm! The venue is located in an area where temperatures are often 23-27° C.
Men: Guayabera formal or Beach formal. Guayaberas are a kind of linen shirt traditionally used in Colombia for formal occasions like weddings. It’s a white linen shirt with collar, long sleeves and cuffs, worn with linen or light cotton trousers and closed toes shoes. Alternatively, wear beach formal attire.
Para los hombres, la vestimenta será guayabera formal: camisa de lino o algodón de color blanco o similar, de manga larga, con cuello y puños, con pantalón de lino o algodón en colores claros y zapatos cerrados.
Women: Formal día / Day formal. We recommend light or bright colors in fresh materials, for extra comfort!

How to fly to the area!
To reach Colombia from Europe, you can fly to Bogotá with KLM from Amsterdam, Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Air France from Paris, Avianca from London, and Iberia or Avianca from Madrid. Via USA, there are many direct flight options from New York, Los Angeles, or Miami, among others, all major carriers fly to the country. Most international connections arrive to Bogotá.
The nearest airports to our wedding venue are Aeropuerto Internacional Matecaña (PEI) in Pereira, and Aeropuerto Internacional El Edén (AXM) in a nearby city called Armenia.
Pereira's airport offers flights from Miami (American Airlines) and Panamá City (Copa Airlines), plus national destinations like Bogotá, Medellín or Cartagena.
Armenia's airport has flights from Fort Lauderdale (Spirit Airlines) and Panamá City (Copa Airlines), plus national destinations like Bogotá, Medellín or Cartagena.
To fly from Europe, you can fly to Bogotá and connect to Pereira, or fly to Miami/Fort Lauderdale and then arrive to Pereira/Armenia.

High season in Colombia
The 6th of January is Dia de los Reyes Magos (the Three Wise Men day) in Colombia and it is a big deal for us - the culmination of the big Christmas and New Year holiday season. The 9th of January will be a bank holiday due to this. There will be lots of exciting things happening around, but accommodation and flight tickets may become limited or more expensive the closer that we get to the date. Please keep this in mind when planning your travels!
