EVERLASTING LOVE...
Boy and girl meet, fall in love, and the rest is history... No. Stop. Not that simple!Let’s start with a ropes course and a cafeteria
32 years ago, a young Swedish man walking in the forest of the beautiful Lester B Pearson College in Canada : www.pearsoncollege.ca/who-we-are/ meets, or rather sees, a young woman standing on a rope. She is clearly running a ropes course with young eager students around her, and very focused. The young man decides to interrupt the ropes course by walking over and shaking the rope. –Miraculously, the young woman falls off - right on him, (mmm... sounds like a scene from a movie)... yes, she did.
Angered by his action she stares into his eyes ready to attack, but his smile and striking blue eyes immediately captivated her (although she stood up quickly, trying very hard to keep the stern look). The young man later confessed he was struck by her beauty the moment he saw her and did not know what overcame him, he just had to go and disrupt whatever was going on (mmm... still sounds like a movie script).
Later that evening in the student cafeteria, the young woman finds the young man waiting ‘to apologize, he says‘ - and he proceeds to carry her food tray to a table. And this he did for 2 days, as many meals as he could.
Turns out the handsome young Swedish man was attending his 10-year reunion at Lester B Pearson and the beautiful young South African woman had completed her second year at Lester B Pearson and happened to be working that summer as a camp counsellor... both Pearson Alumni.

LOVE ACROSS CONTINENTS... FOR A WHILE
That love at first sight led to a love story across two continents and many love letters in the early 90s.. from Lund, Sweden, to Ontario, Canada,.. and a couple of visits.
But long distance blues... two continents apart (Europe and North America) and Life took another turn, and three years later it all came to an end. So, they thought.

A GOOGLE SEARCH 32 YEARS LATER
Fast track 32 years later... and boy meets girl again (well he was just doing a Google search on Audrey Hepburn and ended up checking in on Audrey Mothupi. Close, right?) And it simply feels like it was just yesterday.
Two continents apart, again, only this time Europe and Africa, fast tracked by the age of technology... email, WhatsApp, video calls and similar time zones.
We discover this love lives on, even stronger.
Do you still feel like you’re watching a Netflix movie? If you do, you won’t want to miss out on all the details and finding out what happens next...And if you are reading this, then you are part of this everlasting love...

FINALLY, A WEDDING...
Celebrate with us as we get married under African skies this December.
There’ll be joy, lots of joy, laughter, and friendship - all under a big blue African sky. There will be sun (December can be a scorcher so sunscreen sun hats and sunglasses are a must), an occasional thunderstorm, lots of love, lots of dancing and lots of really good food.
We want YOU to be part of our memorable day.
In the spirit of the love that has consistently travelled through two continents, there will be two celebrations on the same day. We’re sharing our cultures and enjoying a Western style white wedding and a colour-filled African wedding.
Come, let’s laugh, love, dance, and be part of this beautiful unimaginable love story...

ELIZABETH BARRETT BROWNING
(1806-1861)'How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count the Ways'
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth, breadth, and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use.
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, - I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life!--and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better in death.
