Black Tie Optional
What does this mean? (Don't be scared, it's not the White House State Dinner)
We certainly don't want to cause any of our guests stress making them think they have to wear a tux and ballgown or that they need to go out and buy a whole new outfit. We just thought it would be fun to welcome a more elegant style because how often does one get to do that?
Here's a guide to help you decide what's best for you:
"The wording here indicates something slightly less formal than black tie is acceptable. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate.
For the ladies: A long dress, dressy separates, or a formal cocktail dress.
For the men: A tuxedo or a formal dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie."
Don't feel comfortable? Not your thing? Don't have the apparel? No worries! Whatever you wear, just be sure to bring your dancing shoes!

A Celebration Continued
Immediately following the reception, a special lantern lighting ceremony will take place (weather permitting) at a nearby outdoor location. We would love for to join us as we pay homage to Ashley's late father and send well wishes into the sky to celebrate the new couple as they begin their marital journey!
All are welcome!
