How do I book my room?

We have a room block at a discounted price. In order to book your room, go to the "Book My Trip" tab on this website and click on "Accommodations" and then "Book my Room Now." Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions!

When do I need to put down my deposit by?

March 15, 2023 - you can do so by going under the "Book My Trip" tab and clicking on "Accommodations" and then "Book my Room Now"

Second payment (interest-free) totaling 50% due May 17, 2023

Final balance (interest-free) is due by August 02, 2023

There is a 3-night minimum stay to lock in the discounted room block price

What if the room I want is sold-out under the room block?

We can add more rooms to the room block. You can submit your reservation request by selecting any available category from the drop down menu and adding your preference in the notes. You can reach the team via email at hello@destinationweddingsexpert.com with any request you may have.

What happens if I want to attend your wedding but missed the March 15, 2023 deadline?

No problem! Reservations will be accepted anytime. Submit your request through the wedding website. Each guest will be asked to meet the payment schedule at the time of request.

What does the rate include?

The room rate includes an all-inclusive experience (all cuisine and drinks), daily activities, and airport transportation - it does not include your airfare or travel insurance which you need to book separately. 

What if I cannot attend the wedding?

Although your presence will be greatly missed - we completely understand! Please let us know if you cannot attend.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Absolutely, just let us know if you are planning on bringing one. We have some seating constraints with our ceremony and need to ensure that we can accommodate all of our guests. Please know that pricing for your room will be adjusted based on occupancy rates.

Can we bring our children?

We want this to be an adventure for you. If you would like to bring your young ones, Hyatt Ziva is a family-friendly resort (with adult-only optional towers). Just let us know so that we can make sure they are accommodated. 

What is the dress attire?

The dress attire is beachy formal - please keep in mind that the ceremony/reception is outdoors

What will the weather be like in October in Cancún?

The average temperature will be in the 85-90°F range - temperatures can drop at night to around 80°F. So, expect it to be pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. If you want to go swimming, the temperature will be ideal.
