Since we first met, Tyler and I have both been passionate about travel and culture. When we began discussing options for our wedding, we knew we wanted to bring in our love of visiting new places into how we started our life together.
We know a destination wedding presents certain challenges, and not everyone who we want to be there will be able to attend, but we do hope you can make it to this tropical paradise to celebrate with us!

Tyler and Apryl have known each other since sixth grade at Hillcrest Elementary School. In high school, they ran in different crowds, always circling each other but never really connecting despite sharing some of the same classes.
In the winter of 2014, they met up on a train headed home from NYC. Apryl was headed overseas to teach later that year and Tyler was soon to graduate college. It was a brief encounter, and the only one they would have until she returned home from China.
Then, in the summer of 2015, after Apryl returned home from China, she liked a picture of his on Facebook. He reached out and asked to catch-up in person. One hot August night, they met at the Riverfront Park in Peekskill and talked late into the night.
Apryl realized this Tyler was not the one she remembered from high school. He was driven and ambitious, gentlemanly and thoughtful. At the same time, Tyler felt compelled by Apryl's passion for education. He felt that, finally, he had met a genuinely nice person.
