Timing is everything. April and Marquez found themselves instantly drawn to one another after stumbling across each other’s Facebook pages in October 2016. In a bold move, April caught Marquez's attention and he took notice. After a week of communicating over the phone, the pair decided to meet in person for the first time at Dave & Buster’s in Orlando, FL where Marquez lived. The rest was history. Since their first date, April and Marquez have grown tremendously as individuals and as a couple. God shows favor to those whom He is pleased with and thus saw fit to blessed April and Marquez in 2018 with news a baby girl. The ambitious pair became proud homeowners in Orlando in July of 2019, further illustrating the beauty of how love and finding the right partner can help propel our lives forward reaching milestones we all dream about.
In May of 2018, a week prior to a scheduled gender reveal appointment, Marquez shared with April that his brother was planning on proposing to his longtime girlfriend and that in preparation, their mother would be flying into town to witness both the proposal and gender reveal. April, a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic was excited to be in on such a great surprise while still being able to enjoy her own exciting event. The proposal between his brother and fiance' went off without a hitch on May 25th, setting the tone for what was sure to be an unforgettable weekend. On Saturday, May 26th, 2018 at Bonefish Grill surrounded by family and friends following the exciting news that they would be having a baby girl, Marquez kneeled to propose to April. April said yes. Fast forward to 2020, Little Miss Montana is one year old and will make for the most beautiful flower girl ever, as her parents begin this exciting new chapter!
