This love story began in October 2014, when Anthony, a Brooklyn native, and Olaedo, a vibrant Bostonian who was new to the city, were both working in Manhattan. Olaedo had a school-girl crush on Anthony and would always see him in passing, but her shyness kept her from ever approaching him. One of her coworkers, who was friendly with Anthony set the two of them up, and they instantly connected and have been inseparable since. They spent four and a half years traveling, immersing themselves in different cultures and foods from different parts of the world, exploring and discovering new passions and activities together, renovating their house to create a home, and supporting and challenging each other to be the best versions of themselves.
Saturday, March 23, 2019 was date night for the couple. Anthony wanted to wine and dine his busy, hardworking woman, so he sent Olaedo to get her nails done, followed by a relaxing hot stone massage at her favorite spa. He took her to her favorite restaurant in Manhattan, Nobu, for dinner. After a beautiful dinner, Anthony got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life, and of course she said “YES!” The night ended with the most romantic penthouse stay in the heart of Manhattan, with the most amazing view of the city that brought these two souls together as one.
