How we Met

Nina & Anthony met in the beautiful, fairytale land far far away called Cabo San Lucas. They were on vacation to celebrate their mutual friend Folabi at his birthday trip to Cabo.

They say they instantly felt like they were best friends and brought out an energy in each other they had both been missing. At one point, the two who had met 37 seconds ago had decided to run into the ocean while at the infamous, classy, wholesome, Mango Deck. After nearly drowning, they got out of the ocean and Nina threw up on Anthony! Those margaritas at Mango Deck sure are strong!!

She thought "wow, I'll never see this guy again." But it has been nothing but love ever since.

When they got back to reality in Scottsdale, Arizona they decided to go on a real first date. What's more romantic than Dave & Busters? Quite frankly, nothing is. After Nina beat Anthony miserably 3 times at Air Hockey, Anthony made her laugh all night long, and they both sang old school Lil Wayne songs to each other in the car... it was overwhelmingly obvious there was just no way they wouldn't be together.

We can't wait to bring you back to the place our love story began.

The Proposal

Call us bias, but Anthony pulled the GREATEST proposal off of all time.

Nina had written a screenplay in college where she studied and received a degree in Film & Media. It was always a dream growing up to be apart of the film industry and be the next Quentin Tarantino!

Anthony thought to himself what would be the most unique yet heartfelt way to propose to his girl? Then, it came to him.

He hired a director, an editor, several actors, stole her screenplay off of her laptop, and in 6 months time, created her movie.

After the movie had been made, he told Nina they were going out to dinner and a movie date. When they sat down in the theatre, Anthony said "We are about to watch your favorite movie!" Nina thought okay, Pulp Fiction in a private theatre is a pretty amazing date. BUT she had no idea what she was in for.

When she saw the screen, she clearly did not recognize what she was watching. But then, when she heard the first line of dialogue, it hit her.

And it was the most special gesture anyone has ever done for her. She was in shock with what she was watching.

As the movie ended, and the credits read "Written by Nina Sarandrea", the room started to flood through with their family and friends. Yellow by Coldplay, her favorite song, was playing while Anthony got on his knee at exactly 5:55pm. There wasn't a dry eye in sight, and it was just a pure moment of absolute love.

The proposal was nothing short of a dream come true.

We can't wait to tie the knot with all of you and continue livin' the dream as husband & wife!
