Info & FAQs
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
The health and safety of our loved ones and our community is our first priority. As such, all of our guests must be up to date on their vaccinations to attend, without exception.
Do I need to wear a mask at the ceremony or reception?
Masks are optional. Some of our guests may need to, or choose to, continue to wear a mask. Please respect their choice to do so.
What rules are in effect in Seattle?
For details and latest updates, please visit the King County COVID-19 website.
How many people will be in attendance?
141, including the bride and groom. There will also be around a dozen (or so) staff in attendance at our venue.
Is this event indoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour is outside on the rooftop deck. Dinner and dancing is inside and we plan on turning on fans and opening windows. If the weather or air quality is poor, we may need to move the ceremony inside.
What should I do if I feel unwell?
While we will miss you very much, please do not attend if you are not feeling well or have symptoms of COVID-19.
One Last Note
As with all gatherings at this stage of the pandemic, there is a possibility that a guest may begin to develop symptoms or test positive for COVID after our wedding. If this happens and you would like us to do some limited contact tracing to allow others to get tested, please reach out to Andrew or Annie as you feel comfortable.
What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Please arrive at 4:00 PM.
The cocktail hour and reception will start immediately after the ceremony. Friday afternoon traffic in Seattle is often bumper-to-bumper. To avoid feeling rushed, please feel free to arrive early and walk around the beautiful Fremont neighborhood!
What weather should I expect?
We can't guarantee anything, but August in Seattle is usually sunny and warm. We are planning on getting married on the rooftop of the Foundry so be sure to bring your sunglasses and wear sunscreen! If the AQI is poor (due to wildfire smoke) we will relocate the ceremony indoors.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire. But, most importantly we just want you to feel comfortable and like yourself! Wear whatever makes you feel great and ready to dance.
Do I have a plus one? Are my children invited?
Since we both have huge extended families, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?
We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day. Please text, call, or email us so we can coordinate!
Will there be an open bar?
We're providing a limited open bar that includes wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Is there a shuttle?
Transportation will not be provided, so please plan on carpooling, public transit, or rideshare to get to/from the Fremont Foundry.
Where can I park?
There is a parking lot next to the venue as well as street parking. We recommend coordinating ride shares or carpooling if you are an out-of-town visitor.
