We have lots of little people in our lives so would like to involve them in a portion of our day - children are welcome for this day time part of the day.

However, there is absolutley no obligation, if you'd prefer a kids free knees up please just come as yourselves!

Transportation

We have a shuttle bus doing a pick up from Southwold promptly at 2.15pm, and will leave the party around midnight to drop back to southwold.

Whilst we have booked the biggest bus they had, there may not be room for everyone, so please let us know in the RSVP area if you'd like to save a spot!

If you would like to leave at a different time we highly recommend that you pre book a taxi.

What to wear

Can't wait to see everyone looking their best!
We thought 'formal' could be little open ended so to make it easier - Men, suits and ties and ladies, your fanciest dress/skirt etc! 

Ladies, please bear in mind a large proportion of the day will be on grass, and whilst we have everything crossed for a beautiful English summers day, if it has been raining the ground could be soft - block heels could be better!

Hi everyone! 

Just an FYI for the Aussies, flight dates are now open for June/July 2023. 

If you're flying in just before the wedding and coming straight fo Suffolk, we suggest trying to fly in to Stanstead airport as this is then under 2 hours from London. All airlines fly in to Heathrow and Gatwick, this is just a little further away. 

Welcome to the country... unfortunately beautiful  Suffolk is rather remote, we do suggest hiring a car if you're looking to explore. 

From London you can easily get trains to Norwich (nearest major city) from London Liverpool Street.

As it will be prime English summer time, please make sure to book early to avoid disappointment. 

Southwold is our closest town, it is a beautiful traditional seaside English town, and is about 10 minutes away from the wedding location.

Things to Do

Southwold is a beautiful seaside town with a great stretch of beach, beach huts and a pier. Southwold itself has lots of cafes, restaurants and lovely shops, however if you’re looking for some fun things to do we have put a few suggestions below!

The Voyager - speed boat to take you around the harbour and out to sea.

Hire a beach hut!

Southwold golf course.

Adnams- famous English brewery which is from Southwold! You can book a brewery tour or other fun things like gin tastings.

Walk from Southwold Harbour to Walberswick and go crabbing.

Wine tasting. Believe it or not Norfolk is on the same chalk line as Champagne! Winbirri Vineyard in Norfolk do tours and tastings. About 45 minutes drive from Southwold.

Eat and drink! Southwold is full of great pubs, our favourite is The Lord Nelson, aka the Nelly. Sole Bay Fish Company at the harbour is a great spot for lunch.

Personal Note

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all.
