Coral Gables
There is substance behind the boast of this self-ordained “City Beautiful.”Coral Gables, Miami residents enjoy a peachy habitat of terracotta roofs, jewel-like colors and (mostly) lush vegetation. Once a tiny Miami suburb, founded in 1925 as one of the country’s first planned communities, the city is now a spotless home for more than 100 multinational companies and a score of consulates and trade offices. A number of Miami’s best restaurants are clustered near Miracle Mile, the section that runs down the central business district. Several interesting spots remain in the streets immediately north, from the Old Fire House & Police Station that now encompasses one of the best museums in Miami and the building that now houses one of the city’s finest independent bookstores, Books & Books, to the Biltmore Hotel Miami. Coral Gables, Miami, with its many fountains, plazas and picturesque corners, has plenty of old-world charm to offer.

Miami’s original neighborhood was founded in 1873 by an eclectic mix of pioneers, artists, intellectuals and adventurers. Wynwood
About a 10 minute drive from downtown, no neighborhood helped usher in the Miami renaissance more than the trendy Miami arts district known as Wynwood. In a matter of years, this former industrial hub home to warehouses and auto shops now boasts the hottest galleries, trendiest bars and best restaurants in Miami. Though some might argue the recent spate of breweries is an even bigger draw—the Wynwood Miami arts district continues to thrive as the city's epicenter of all things beautiful and expressive.

Coyo Taco
$
One of our favorite taco joints in Miami!
Eat a taco at one of their two locations in downtown: Brickell & Wynwood!
Versailles
$
Versailles Restaurant, The World’s Most Famous Cuban Restaurant, has been serving tasty Cuban cuisine and culture to the South Florida community and tourists from around the world for four decades. Soon after it opened its doors in 1971, Versailles quickly became the gathering place and unofficial town square for Miami’s Cuban exiles. Today, it remains the unrelenting gauge of the community’s pulse. Not surprisingly, Versailles is typically the first place politicians visit locally to garner support from the Cuban exile community, and the restaurant is equally a favorite among the media for gathering commentary and footage of the community’s take on social and political issues. It is not uncommon to see local, national and international media set up camp in Versailles’ parking lot, where they’re sure to get a flood of local viewpoints.
Zuma Miami
$$$$
Our favorite place to SPLURGE! We love this place so much, we celebrated our engagement here with a Sunday Brunch. Ankit also took Arina out here for her 25th Birthday. Be prepared to have a meal of a lifetime, but to drop some $$$.
"ESSENCE OF ZUMA: A sophisticated twist on the traditional Japanese Izakaya style of informal eating and drinking; co-founded by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney in 2002."
Baoli
$$$
Bâoli Miami is known for its nightly transformation into a partying paradise where conviviality reigns in between the stars and the international jetsetters. The opening of Bâoli in Miami rang in a new era of nightlife and dining on South Beach’s shores, importing a truly european style of partying that would soon transform the Miami Beach scene. Situated on one of the country’s most iconic streets Collins Avenue, the restaurant, lounge and club tempts and teases at any hour. Dinner patrons will take their palates on a culinary expedition, exploring unique Asian flavors and when night falls, the inviting restaurant revamps into a playground for the nocturnal.
Baoli is Ankit and Arina’s favorite place to go out for dinner and dancing!
Joe's Stone Crab
$$$$
In 1913, Joe Weiss opened up a small lunch counter on Miami Beach. This was before Miami Beach was even a city. Folks stopped in to chat and for a top-notch fish sandwich and fries. In 1921, James Allison built an aquarium at the foot of the bay and Fifth Street. Allison invited a Harvard ichthyologist down to do research. One of them came down one day and said to Joe, "Have you ever used these stone crabs, these crabs from the water?"For more than 100 years, no visit to Miami has been complete without stopping in at Joe's Stone Crab.
If you come to Miami, you have to try a stone crab claw. Try out "Joe's Take away" and have a picnic on the beach.
Ankit and Arina bought crabs claws for a picnic on the beach for their first Valentines Day in Miami. Ankit decided that he was "allergic," and never ate a stone crab again.
