Payment is required upon booking; however, the Brides parents will be covering your stay on June 20, 2021  when booking one or more additional nights. If you are not staying on property, there will be a day rate of $220  that will be charged upon arrival

Grand Velas Room Rates:

Three people occupancy: $458 per person per night. Two people occupancy: $550 per person per night. One person occupancy: $825 per person per night. All taxes included. No more than three adults in a room per night, children ages 4-12 are $100 each, teens ages 13-15 are $200 each.

Please fly into SJD, Los Cabos International Airport. Once you land, you will follow the directions within the airport to customs. You will need your passport and all of your forms filled out in the airplane prior to landing. Once you get through customs, you will head to baggage claim. After grabbing your bags, you will be directed to another checkpoint to exit the airport. After this stage you will head outside to transportation. Be sure to keep your customs paper documentation as it will be REQUIRED to travel back into the United States.

We think it is best to plan this in advance but there are multiple taxis available right outside the airport. The duration to Grand Velas is about 30-45 minutes each way.

According to the CDC, air passengers entering the U.S. will be required to present documentation of a negative COVID-19 viral test (called a Qualifying Test) conducted within the 3 days before their flight to the U.S. departs.
*As part of Velas Resorts' commitment to our guests and to make your vacation experience as relaxing as possible, we will cover the cost of your antigen test. A certified laboratory will perform the test within the property, and the result will be ready in a maximum of 24 hours.

Documentation may be paper or electronic copy and must include the name and contact information for the laboratory or healthcare provider who performed the test. Test results may be required to be shown again upon landing.

Alternatively, passengers may provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 with documentation of test results conducted during the three months preceding the flight’s departure from a foreign country.
