The ultimate airport you need to fly to is IGU (Foz do Iguacu). For those coming internationally, we suggest flying round-trip to Sao Paulo and then round-trip to IGU. This is because the best airline covering Foz do Iguaçu is Latam Airlines (www.latam.com) and Gol (www.voegol.com.br), and it might not partner with your preferred airline to get to Brazil. The same is true for those travelling from different parts of Brazil - Sao Paulo is probably your best connection option.

Para os que farão viagem internacional, sugerimos comprar passagens de ida e volta para São Paulo, e passagens de ida e volta para IGU. Staying at the Belmond is a marvelous experience - it is the only hotel inside of the Iguazu Falls National Park, and gives guests the privileges such as seeing the Falls before and after the Park close for the crowds. It is also where most of the wedding activities will be held. If you want to stay at the wedding hotel, we have special rates for our guests. Don't feel pressured of staying there though - we understand it's a pricey option and we want to make our wedding as viable as possible for all of our guests.

To secure our group rate, you need to book and pre-pay until September 4th (60 days before the wedding). Any modifications or cancellations should also be handled via email.

Wedding guests holding US, UK and European Union passports do not need a visa to go to Brazil if you are visiting the country for up to 90 days. However, other passport holders might. Notice that no specific vaccines are needed to travel to Foz do Iguaçu.

Walk until the Iguassu Falls Viewpoint | Caminhada até o mirante das Cataratas do Iguaçu
Visit the National Park and walk until the main viewpoint, where you have a panoramic view of the Devil's Throat and the 275 waterfalls that make Iguassu the largest waterfall system in the world.
Visite o Parque Nacional e caminhe até o mirante principal, de onde se tem tem uma vista panorâmica da Garganta do Diabo e das 275 cachoeiras, que fazem as Cataratas do Iguaçu o maior sistema de cachoeiras do mundo.
Rafting on the River | Passeio de Barco no Rio
See the Falls from the river - the rafting is also an amazing experience on itself! The tour starts with a tram, which takes you to the river. Then, you go to one of the rafts that takes you closer to the waterfalls. Highly recommended!
Veja as Cataratas desde o rio - a parte do rafting por si só já é uma experiência muito legal! O passeio começa em um bondinho, que leva você até o rio. Lá, o grupo é alocado nos barcos que vão até as Cataratas. Recomendadíssimo!
Birds Park | Parque das Aves
It is the 2nd most popular attraction in Foz do Iguaçu. Walk for 1-2 hours seeing beautiful rescued birds that are native from the surrounding forest.
É a 2ª atração mais popular de Foz do Iguaçu. Caminhe por 1-2 horas e observe os diversos pássaros que são nativos da Mata Atlântica e estão ali sendo cuidados após serem resgatados do tráfico pela Polícia Federal.

Take a 5-mile hike up to the Falls to see a unique-view up close from the Argentinian side. Everybody says it is not the same as seeing on the Brazilian side - it is a complimentary way to experience the Falls (and add another country to the passport!!

For the ladies that will stay at the hotel of the wedding, we will have a few slots for those who want to have their hair / makeup done with a team that will come until us. That way, you don't need to leave the National Park and go all the way to the city center for a saloon appointment. If you want to know more about this option, contact Ana (the bride) and the planning team will organize the appointments.
