Maid of Honor
Contrary to popular belief, Anamee & I are not twins however as her little sister, I’ve had the pleasure of spending a lifetime being mistaken for her. When we were little, I was lucky enough to be the one whose ear she held on to as she fell asleep and as we got older I took on the new role of listening to her endless stories, sometimes hearing them 3-4x. It’s always an adventure when we’re together and now I can’t wait to be a part of this next adventure with both Anamee and Nimit!

I met Anamee 18 years ago when she was a skinny, fast talking 11 year old. All I could think back then was damn, she just keeps on going. Well 18 years later, the only thing that has changed is...NOTHING and this is my most favorite thing about her!

Circa 2003. I met Anamee through a dance thing our parents made us do every year. It was the first year I didn't know anyone in my group. Anamee and I started talking and instantly became friends! Little did I know that 17 years later, she still hasn't stopped once to catch her breath LOL

Anamee and I don’t go “waaaay” back but honestly it feels like we’ve been best friends forever. Since college, Anamee has been a true ride or die, pseudo FBI agent, masterful baking artist, shoulder to cry on and a lending ear. She’s patient when it takes me years to respond to messages and she’s upfront if she ever needs to be. That’s a best friend. She is such a kind and beautiful human which, of course, my little furball of a pup, Joey, will absolutely attest to. She gives him all the pets and he gives her all the licks (unfortunately). He knows a good soul when he meets one! We’re also so happy to welcome Nimit into our lives and wish nothing but the best for both! Can’t wait to celebrate!

I met Anamee when she was scoping me out to be her grand little in our sorority. We bonded over our sarcastic sense of humor - she realized I was amazing and accepted me into her lineage. From our long deep talks to breaking it down on dance floors - we went from friends to fam! Can’t wait to celebrate!

I met Anamee while rushing for the sorority she was already in. We went to different colleges but we quickly became friends because of her sassy, loving nature. She ended up taking me as a little sister but has since become so much more. Here’s to getting my best friend married (finally!!)!

I met Anamee a few years ago and we instantly clicked! She’s been incredibly kind and loving to me and it's easy to see how she really does have dozens of close friends. I’m honored to be a part of her big day and can't wait to continue making memories with you and celebrating this sweet couple!
Amish Dholakia
Best Man

Let me tell you a little bit about my relationship with the artist formerly known as "Nanko". We met in the 80s. It was a time that was littered with rock music, an ambitious stock market, and dirty diapers (more me than him). At first, I think he wanted to be like me - being the older brother and all. But in a matter of a few short years, everything changed. His popularity (both within our family and friends) skyrocketed and sure enough I had no chance of catching up. He then made the quintessential move to become "the favorite child" by becoming Dr. Dholakia. The journey from brothers to best friends has been littered with moments that both of us would like to have back. And now - we've developed him into this beautiful bride and on behalf of the whole family, we're happy to give him away. Congrats baby bro!

Samit Ghia

Hey all, my name is Samit and I've had the fortune of calling Nimit one of my best friends since we were kids at mandir (temple). But before this relationship blossomed into what it is today, Nimit was just the younger brother that would hang out with his older brother's friends. Side note, we are closer in age to Nimit then to Amish. Even though we often treated him as the youngest brother, Nimit was smart beyond his years; like when he was featured in the local Leominster paper for reading the most books as a child (makes you wonder why he didn't have many of his own friends). Truthfully, Nimit has been an inspiration to me because of how he has continued to meet challenges head on and some of my most introspective moments have been through conversations with him. I couldn't be happier for Nimit to have found a lifelong companion in Anamee and cannot wait to celebrate their union.

Nimit aka (nanko, amish's brother, book worm, nerd - to name a few) and I have always been only 6 months apart ever since we were born, but early on nimit was annoying, he corrected my grammar, read more books than me, and quite simply made me look bad. Some things just don't change, but the one thing that has is that we became best friends over the years through listening to DJ volcanik, Nerf battles, and yes, occasionally having a silent reading session while Amishbhai was busy doing his homework... If you want to know more about me, let me know and I'll send you a link to my blog.

So when I first met Nimit he was riding a lawn mower wearing red track shorts and no shirt. He then came up to me and embraced me, grassy as can be. I was covered in grass. Mind you, we never met before. Since then I knew he was the one.... until Anamee stole him. But I guess I can share.

Sunny Patel

Hey, what’s going on? My name is Sunny aka SunnyBunny and me and my boy Nimit go long ways back. He informed me to keep this PG so you know, I’m not going to go into any crazy details... but me and Nimit basically met in the Bronx where we were chasing down a group of thugs who stole our Pokémon cards. The shiny ones so it was a big deal. Jk.

It’s actually the complete opposite. Me and Nimit met at Mandir after we did Arti probably talking about how cool the Shikshapatri is over a plate of Prasad. Basically, we’ve been friends for a very long time. Our phone calls can really go on forever at times. The coolest thing you know you’re really tight with someone is, no matter how long it’s been that we haven’t kept in touch, whenever we have the chance to reconnect, whether it’s been a day, a week, or months, it feels as if we’ve never skipped a beat. We both know we are busy in our own individual lives, but I always know who my best homie is.. and that’s Nim!

Mohsin Fidai

Nimit and Mohsin met during their freshman year at Brandeis in Massell Quad. Nimit was a dancer and Mohsin was a baller, but that didn't stop them from being friends.
