TO 12:00 am
Sa Casa Bona
Cami de sa Sacorrada
Poligono 3 Parcela 360, 07340
Alaro,
Given you've travelled so far, we're hosting a Pool & Paella party on day 2 at Sa Casa Bona, near the village of Alaro (approx 10 mins from the wedding venue).
The venue is a large, remote villa with outdoor swimming pool, so please pack your swimwear, towel, suncream and shades and be ready to party!!
We're delighted that a selection of our friends will be tearing up the DJ decks, bringing some big tunes, and we'll be providing plenty of paella and drinks!
The party will start at 1.30pm, so please arrive as close to then as you can.
We would recommend eating a big breakfast, as the paella will be served mid-afternoon.
The party will conclude at, the latest, 1am, but potentially sooner depending on how much stamina everyone has! For anyone staying to the end, we will order pizza from a restaurant in the nearest village.
Food:
We have arranged for a catering company to serve paella from around 3pm. There will be two options: seafood & meat, as well as a vegetarian option (dietary requirements will be catered for).
Drink:
We will be providing a range of alcoholic and soft drinks for the entire day!
Dress for a day out in the sunshine! There is no set dress code, so just ensure you feel comfortable - you can come as relaxed or as dressy as you wish!
Of course, if you would like to use the pool, make sure to bring your swimwear and towel!
There are bathrooms and areas within the property where you can get changed and store bags.

Flights are to Palma International Airport (PMI) in Mallorca.
We will be flying on Wednesday the 19th June (07:15 from City airport) until Friday 28th June (11:00 to City Airport).
There are regular flights from Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and City.
Palma airport is a 15 minute drive from the airport, if you intend to stay in the Palma area only then using taxis only will be best.
If you plan to explore the Island it is very easy and reasonable to hire a car at the airport, there are lots of beautiful areas and beaches to visit that would be helpful with a car, there is also a train that goes from Palma to Soller.
Even though Ubers are also now available on the Island. We would suggest booking late night taxis in advance and not relying on Ubers for the wedding and pool party.
We have selected locations that are relatively near to Palma, in the interest of minimizing the travel you have to do across the two days. We have booked Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume in Palma Old Town and will be staying there (Weds - Sun) and then Sunday heading to Pollenca (North of the Island) and our final two days will be in Soller. Please feel free to join us in any of the areas after the wedding!
Assuming you are interested in utilizing the transfers, staying in or around Palma would be the most convenient.
However, the island has so many beautiful parts (including beaches and mountainous regions), that some of you may prefer to stay further out and, if staying in Mallorca for longer than the two days, we would certainly recommend spending some time in other areas. We stayed in the North of the Island on our last trip (Soller) and visited Valledemossa and Deia which we would definitely recommend visiting! There are also many areas to stay closer to beaches all over the Island or also areas close to the venues themselves.
Binissalem (wedding venue) & Alaro (pool party venue) are lovely villages where there is a range of villas and guesthouses (please ensure you book your taxi's in advance).
As there are so many hotels, villas and apartments to choose from we have not listed any but if you would like to run anything by us or ask for our advice then please do!!
What is the wedding day dress code?
Semi formal/cocktail - suit jackets and ties are optional
Please wear whatever you are happy and comfortable wearing, in any colours!
Are children attending the wedding day?
We are very sorry but due to venue regulations, we can only host a small number of children on the wedding day, the parents of whom have been notified.
For guests travelling with children, they are welcome at our Day 2 Pool Party. Please let us know if they will be joining so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Babies in arms are, of course, welcome at both events (wedding and pool party).
If you would like to organise childcare in Mallorca please let us know and we can put you in touch with recommendations from our wedding planners.
Where are you staying?
We will be staying in Palma Old Town (Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume) Wednesday the 19th - Sunday the 23rd June. On Sunday we will be heading to the North of the island near Pollenca and then on Wednesday for our final two days in Soller.
