Tarrytown is booked! What to do?

Hello Friends,

The Extended Stay - White Plains (2.3mi away)

The Time (Nyack - 3.1mi away)

The Days Inn - Elmsford (2.5mi away)

VRBO and AIRBNB are also in the area.  Uber car services is also available in the area for your transportation needs.  As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.  We look forward to you being part of our big day!

What Do I Wear?

Formal with Flair

The events leading up to the Ceremony are generally casual, but when it comes to the big day itself, we step it up a notch and want you to think of it as formal with flair - think long dresses and suits with a fun pocket square, eye catching socks, a vintage brooch, vests, or fascinator.  Fedoras and fun hats are equally encouraged, but may ask you to take them off so not to block anyone's view during the ceremony.

Please note that we will be on a grass lawn in New York, in Autumn, so plan accordingly.  Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60's-70's during the day and drop into the 50's as the sun is goes down.  But this is New England, so really who knows?!?  We suggest you take care to look at the expected weather in advance and bring a shawl or sweater if necessary.

The bridemaids will be in long navy blue chiffon dresses with lace.  The grooms party will be in very sleek gunmetal grey suits and complimentary chiffon dresses with a splash of navy blue to bring it all together.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, but we are confident that this isn't your first rodeo and so, 'nuff said...

Can I Bring a Guest?

I didn't get a plus 1...

We would love to say yes, but unfortunately, we are going to ask you not to unless it has been otherwise indicated on your formal invitation.  We are expecting a large turn out and frankly, space and expense are a consideration.  We have taken the time to carefully look at our guest list to ensure that no one feels as though they are alone in a sea of strangers.  But that said, if this is a concern for you, reach out and lets talk.  We've been there too and understand.

Family + Wee Ones

Should I bring my family too?

Our wedding weekend is all about inclusion and getting to spend time with you.  If your family tagging along is necessary to make that happen, we say "the more the merrier".  Yet, that said, if your wee ones will be running around, please let us know so that we can discuss the options available to you to ensure that both you and the children have a great experience.  It is our preference that the ceremony through reception dinner remain adults only (infants and toddlers being the exception).  Though, once it's time to shake it, if it's not already too much past their bed time, we would love to see the kiddos move it on the dance floor!
