With the all clear from Bojo we are a go with our "Plan A" and the day we have been dreaming of and planning. As further reassurance we have made steps within the venue and plans for our day to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. We encourage everyone to do what feels right for them and if you prefer to wear a face covering at the barn then please do so. There is ample santising points and hand washing facilities available, with high ceilings, circulating fresh air and plenty of outdoor space for all.
CHURCH INFORMATION
For those that have visited the church before (whether you are local or if you came to Theo's christening) you may remember that the road leading up to the church does not have vast amounts of parking. We would politely ask that where possible you make every effort to car share with others or look at walking to the ceremony if you live in the village. The ceremony is due to start at 1pm promptly, so we would ask that you arrive at the church by 12.45pm at the latest in order that you can be seated by our wonderful Ushers.
Due to our big group of family and friends we will be capacity within the church, therefore we will not be able to support social distancing and will ask guests to wear a face covering whilst inside. Singing is allowed behind the mask and fresh air will be circulated throughout the church.

RECEPTION
Kingsthorpe Lodge Barn is based on a working farm just a 10 minute drive from Sawtry. There is parking onsite for approx. 40 cars and cars can be parked either side of the entrance road to the farm on the grass verges. Cars can be left overnight if required (at owners risk), but MUST be collected by 11am the following day. Can we politely ask again that car sharing and drop offs are arranged where possible as with a lot of guests coming to share this day with us space will be limited (and we don’t want to anger the farmer!).
Due to the short walk to the barn from the parking area if the weather is wet (and we have to put this caveat in as we live in England) the ground may be messy/muddy underfoot; so please carry some spare shoes that can get dirty for the short walk from the car (or get a piggy back from your other half!). The barn has hard flooring so fancy shoes can be put back on for dancing the night away once inside the barn.
The barn is a romantic rustic rural venue and exclusively ours for the day. Due to the nature of the venue all the facilities onsite during the day are local vendors that we have hired to make our day special, so you may find our day a little different from a typical wedding day. This means that our day is as unique as us, and we have thought of the special touches for you to enjoy.
As the reception is based on a working farm the owners have politely requested that once you enter the farm and head to the barn area, you stay with us celebrating and do not venture off anywhere else.
The reception will be finishing at midnight and we ask that all carriages are arranged in advance (due to the location) and all guests have vacated the venue by 12.15am. For those needing a taxi service please see a list of local providers below:

FOOD & DRINK
We have the most fabulous caterers who will be creating some wonderful dishes for us based on some our favourite foods from around the world. Little Piggy's (cause let's be honest that's what we both are!) will be designing some delicious grazing tables for everyone to enjoy. Please let us know in advance by email or text if you have any food allergies or intolerance's so these can be clearly labelled on the day.
Our lovely bar service will be available all day and offering a wide selection of drinks throughout the day/night. Due to the rural location of the wedding (and lack of WiFi) this will be a CASH ONLY bar service. Please make sure you you have pennies with you on the day or it will be a very sober affair ;)
