Travel to Kefalonia
There are many ways to get to Kefalonia and the island has its own airport, Kefalonia International Airport "Anna Pollatou," which is only 8km away from the island's main city, Argostoli. The airport code is EFL.
You can fly to Kefalonia directly during summer, as its airport is international. It is also easy to reach Kefalonia via Athens or Thessaloniki. Flights to Kefalonia from Athens are about 1 hour long. You can also fly to Kefalonia from two other Ionian islands, Lefkada and Zakynthos (Zante).
If you are coming from Europe (minus Urkaine), you should be able to get a direct flight into Kefalonia.
