HIKING:

SNOW KING - During summer, what’s otherwise a ski run is a steep trail. It's little less than 2 miles, that takes around 45-60 minutes to reach the summit. You will gain about 1,500 ft elevation so this town hill hike is an excellent workout. Depending on what time you hike you may even be able to take the chair lift down!

PHELPS LAKE - Scenic and easy, this “hike” is more of a walk. A few miles in, there’s a boulder from which you can jump 30 feet and swim!

JENNY LAKE - Moderate in intensity, this trail gives you options — either hike it round trip (~7.5 miles) or halfway, then take a boat back to the starting point.

DELTA LAKE - With elevation gain of 2,000 ft. and a duration of 8 miles, this trail is difficult but worth it! The views are unreal, get there early to avoid the crowds and the heat of the day!

DAY TRIPS:

Road trip through Yellowstone National Park

Roadtrip through Grand Teton National Park Drive to Mormon Row and see the famous T.A. Moulton Barn

Tram Ride at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort - In just 12 minutes, the Aerial Tram glides skyward 4,139 vertical feet. The summit offers staggering 360-degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole valley and surrounding mountain ranges.

The National Museum Of Wildlife Art

RAFTING (WHITE + SCENIC):

Cruise down Snake River via raft — either go on a guided whitewater or scenic rafting trip or grab some beer and leisurely float (sans guide). For Scenic Floats we recommend you book through Grand Teton Lodge Company or Triangle X, as their permits have the best sections. For White Water rafting you don't need to be as picky, as they all have permits to the same section of the river!

FLY FISHING:

Book a full-day, guided trip or rent gear for an afternoon to fish. Most trips will take you to Jackson Lake or down the Snake River, but check out any of the lakes and rivers in or around Grand Teton National Park for some action. BIKING:

Rent bikes (comfort, road, mountain) from Teton Mountain Bike Tours and explore Jackson on two wheels. If you want to stay close to town, check out the Cache Creek trail system, which is accessible from Snow King. Otherwise, head toward the park on the Jenny Lake pathway, or bike Old Pass Road, which climbs 2,000 feet from Wilson to the Teton Pass summit. There are also trails accessible from Teton Village — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a great resource. Check out friendsofpathways.org/ website as a great resource for any trail riding you are looking for!
