Q: Is the Ceremony inside or outside?
A: The ceremony is outside, directly on the beach.
Q: How far in advance should we already be at the ceremony and in our seats?
A: Guest must be at the ceremony site 30-40 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony and will be guided by our wedding coordinators. Ceremony begins promptly at 5 pm. Please plan accordingly to be there by the arrival time.
Q: Is there any specific seating at the ceremony?
A: No, you are more than welcome to seat freely and where as directed by our wedding coordinator.
Q: Can we take pictures/videos during the ceremony?
A: As much as we love pictures, Nathan and I respectfully ask that our guest refrain from taking pictures or videos during the ceremony. We've hired a professional photographer to be able to capture this special moment and don't want any interference in their work. We encourage that towards the conclusion of the ceremony, to take pictures/videos and of course at the reception!
Q: Is there going to be parking at the site?
A: Yes, if you decided that you would like to drive yourself to the ceremony, there will be parking available. Please keep in mind, if you decide to drive to the ceremony, the parking is metered (1-1.5 hours is recommended)
Q: What kind of footwear should we be wearing for the ceremony to still follow dress code?
A: We want our guest to be comfortable and enjoying themselves, but still adhering to the dress code. Whether females want to wear: sandals, flats, be barefoot. For males: sandals, dress shoes, also being barefoot then at the reception wear their respective shoes of choice. It is up to you!
Q: Will we get any notification if inclement weather occurs to which the ceremony is moved?
A: Of course, we are definitely going to be communicating any change of venue with our guest. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Imperial Ballroom back at the Grand Plaza Hotel. After information has been communicated to us by our wedding coordinator, we will send out notifications via this website hours prior to the actual start time with the new details!
Q: Is RSVP only online or are there various means to be able to RSVP?
A: The preferred method to RSVP would be with the wedding website either by desktop or downloading the AppyCouple App (I highly recommend the app and its free)! To access: you are going to need the Access Code and email for security purposes! Nathan and I ask that you don't call/text RSVP due to the number of invited guest to keep record of count.
*For Alexandra's family in Dominican Republic, Panama, and Italy, you can communicate with Andrea for RSVP*
Q: When do we need to RSVP by?
A: The sooner the better! But, the last day to RSVP will be on August 18th, 2019 by 10:30 pm EST. Reminders will be sent out as time gets closer!
Q: Will there be food and drinks provided at the event?
A: Absolutely! We are offering a dinner buffet with a variety of food selections. Please note we will be offering a full open bar selection of cocktails, beer, and wine until 10:30 pm for our guest 21 years and older! All other guests will have unlimited soda/juice/water. Please keep in mind, that any beverages not included in the open bar selection, is the responsibility of the guest to pay for.
Q: Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
A: Nathan and I want to ensure that all of our guest attending are very taken care. When you RSVP, if attending, there will be questions for you to answer regarding any food allergies, gluten-free food, or if you are vegan/vegetarian. That way we can communicate this to our wedding coordinator!
Q: Will there be a DJ?
A: Yes, of course!
Q: What time is the reception schedule to end and is there anything else happening after the reception?
A: The reception is schedule to end at 10:30 pm. Afterwards, there is a bar right on the beach on the hotel property called Bongos Beach Bar and Grille! This is a laid back, causal dress bar. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY for guest to attend. More information on the Events Tab Page!

A: The reception is going to be in the Imperial Ballroom on the main floor of the hotel.
Q: Is there an area outside of the reception where I can smoke?
A: Yes, the Imperial Ballroom does have a patio area directly outside for our guests to smoke.
Q: Is there anything setup to keep us warm if the weather is a little chilly to sit and have a drink or smoke?
A: Typical temperature in Florida will be around mid 60's to low 70's, Grand Plaza Hotel has graciously offer heat lamps to ensure that guest in the patio area are warm, in the event that it is chilly!
Q: Where are you registered for gifts?
A: We do not have any registries for gifts nor are we accepting from our guests. Your presence at our wedding renewal and celebrating with us, is all we asked for!
Q: Are children allow to attend the reception?
A: Children of the immediate family are allowed to attend. Nathan and I are very open to allow our guest to decide whether or not they would like to bring their children to the wedding including immediate family. We want our adult wedding guests to enjoy a night of dancing, drinks, and relaxation. Our event is taking place during the mid to late evening hours. If you like to bring your child(ren) to the wedding, there will be a question about it in the RSVP section. Nathan and I will personally reach out to you to obtain children names and ages.
Dress Code is Casual!!! Change out of the wedding clothes, put on your jean, shorts, long sleeve tops, whatever you and just relax!
