Visiting Oregon
Portland
Whether you call it the City of Bridges, City of Roses, RIP City, Stumptown or Portlandia, Portland keeps it weird. Between the restaurants, food trucks, the most beer per capita, farmers' markets, sky tram, beautiful city forests, historic streets and riverwalks, this city has something for everyone. The hustle and bustle during the day to night time city lights, Portland's hip and unique culture is worth the stay.
The Oregon Coast
No matter where you stop on Oregon Coast Highway 101, the fresh air, ocean mist, and sand between your toes will not disappoint. Stop in Newport and visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium or get a drink at the Rogue Brewery. Like cheese? Go to Tillamook and tour their famous cheese factory (and get some free samples too). Visit Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach for the most scenic ocean horizon. Or stop in Astoria, climb the Colum for an incredible view, or visit the historic Fort Clatsop and Fort Stevens for more on Oregon history. No matter where you go on the Oregon coast, the beauty will amaze you.
Mt.Hood
Take advantage of the surroundings and explore Mt.Hood. Go up and explore Ski Bowl, go hiking around Timberline lodge, go fishing at Trillium lake.
Hood River
Hood River is an easy choice.
It’s the go-to destination for foodies, trekkers, historians and adrenaline junkies. Called the windsurfing capital of the world, Hood River is located at the panoramic crossroads of the Columbia River Gorge and the Cascade Range. It’s chock-full of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, craft breweries, wineries and farm-to-table bounty. We recommend doing it all.
