Alexa and Nathan share a modern love story. The two were living in different states when they met - Alexa was in New York and Nathan was in Florida. However, that did not keep them apart and quickly turned into a 3-year long distance relationship before they finally ended up in the same city! Over the course of their long distance relationship, they made the most of traveling throughout the U.S. to various cities and even throughout Asia on a 6-week backpacking trip. The couple thinks long distance actually made them closer, and they fell head over heels for each other early on! Although New York City will always hold a special place in their hearts, Fernandina Beach was their safe haven and where the two loved to spend quality time. Currently, Alexa and Nathan live in Austin, Texas with their precious dachshund, Winston, who you will probably see (or hear barking) during some wedding weekend activities!
